So crazy how different lipsticks look on different skin tones - velvet teddy looks so orange/nude on me my light skin tone, not pink at all!
I know right! That’s why I find these types of videos so helpful when trying to find new lipsticks!
Its probably not skin tone but more your own natural lip colour and tone.

Wish they had named "Yash" something else. In Nigeria that's the colloquial term for butt lol. It's my fav swatch on you!

In India , Yash means fame and Mehr means blessing. And both these shades have been created by an Indian make up artist

I just found the Mac shade Whirl at my local TJ Maxx, and it has been a lipstick I secretly have been wanting for a long, long while. I find it's one of Mac's all time iconic shades and it suits so many skin tones! Happy Holidays love

Thanks for sharing especially the velvet teddy which is super popular and I thought would be too light for my skin but you’ve swatched it beautifully. I also like taupe on you. The only nude I have is Twig which I use with chicory liner. It’s a orangey brown I would say.

I’ve been trying to find a dupe for it but it’s impossible!!!!! 😭 the closest I heard was a dose of colors Desi and Katy lipstick 🥺 but that’s discontinued too!
@@mividannenna3814 it is such a rare shade, and according to a Mac rep. (I asked), a mix of Yash and Cork liner would get a similar shade. But idk, i have my doubts cuz neither seems to have that olive undertone I like so much about kinkster.
