As the intense record - breaking heatwave literally burned itself out in mid July, we see here appliances from Great Yarmouth Fire Station heading of to devastating scenes of lost village homes at Ashill in west Norfolk, the Carrow crew return on blue lights from a serious spreading field fire in south Norfolk, to return elswhere in the south with the Technical Rescue Unit to affect an animal rescue. A memorable period for the country, which will also go down as a most challenging part of Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service's long and proud history. The film ends with Earlham Papa 1 arriving and departing an ambulance assist of Magdalene Street in the city of Norwich.
