I'm a fan of those independent rail mz class locos.they sure pull hard on workloads.& i also saw them at the Minto freight terminal.but their skins rust a little bit.
just noticed that linx is sort of a new freight shuttle service because I ve not seen them in Sydney until now.& at the moment they only got one G Class.
V/Line Passenger is still state owned after the National Express debacle. Freight was sold of years ago and what's left of it is now owned by Pacific National
Super catches my friend

It is a very good looking livery as well!
Recently I filmed a streamlined GM class diesel with a 45 class
Yep preserved with Transport Heritage NSW
15:26 That Pacific National, #8254 was effectively "light engine"! There wasn't any cargo whatsoever(unless it was invisible! LOL)
goes in empty and comes out full.
very interesting.
Thanks for enjoying the video.
V/Line is a government-owned corporation that operates regional passenger train and coach services in Victoria, Australia. Who was it sold to ???

Comes as no surprise..............but check out the condition of the tracks from 8:49 in the clip, shocking!!
more power is needed!
Hello, nice lot here , but still can not get over those wide flat front locos, they just look out of place,,, Cheers FROM NJ USA🇦🇺🇺🇸
Thanks LS 😀😀
I noticed the overhead masts with no wires, were the freight lines through there ever electrified?
I'm not a Sydney sider but to my knowledge the freight lines were never electrified.
G516 looks like an N class, is it just renamed?
No G class is based on the BL class. Infact the first 5 G Class were BL class that were originally destined for ANR back in the day
@@Schony747 oh alright, looks very simmilar
