This drama is an underrated gem. Very good topics covered which are taboo in south east Asia. Hira is one of the top actresses of Pakistan she can make you cry with her acting skills. Ehsan is a versatile actor who is not afraid to take an any type of role. Overall Sweet mini series unlike those deadly sass bahu dragged plots usually shown on Geo and ARY and now there is one on Hum which are an insult to intelligence and dumb down communities. There are useless dramas going on forever but this was a good one.
Mental health & Abuse needs to be spoken about & not be a hidden subject. The more it’s buried the more it hurts & harder to talk about, as Mahi & Umer portrayed. Hira & Ahsan well done on this mini series to get a message across.❤
The communication between them was good. Very important points were made about physical and, emotiinal abuse. Also it showed how important it is to communicate and listen with respect. It was simple and nice end.
Mind blowing drama.. More and more drama should be based on mental abuse and ways to tackle and heal down...jhazak allah khair sooo much for the entire team.. Although performances was good but unfortunately storytelling was extremely weak. Still good attempt and most importantly we are getting to see different story lines apart from saas bahu saga, beating or harassing women.

Such a good series I have ever seen
I have enjoyed the drama. The acting was excellent by everybody. Hira Ji is fantastic. I love the scene with Alizeh Ji. Hira Ji has no lines but the viewer feels every emotion that she is feeling! It is so great that our stories are moving on from the saaa/bahu, and family politics and are shifting their focus to couples and the intricacies of this relationship. Childhood experiences form the basis for how perceive ourselves and then relate to the world. This has been highlighted beautifully by the narrative. Not enough time has been given to exploring childhood trauma and abusive parenting so this drama is timely and very welcome. Ahsan Ji did a wonderful job playing Umer. Recently, he has played grey or negative roles so it was good to see him the role of a decent man, or a man striving towards decency. It is also good to highlight that men can also suffer childhood trauma, emotional neglect, and comparison parenting. I love the emphasis the narrative places on honest communication between married couples. Mahi and Umer were able to let go of some of their pain by sharing it with each other. In this process, both have been set on the path of healing. However, I will give a note of caution here. This drama does feel too short. It was very choppy towards the end which I presume was because they needed to finish the series in 6 episodes. I can't help thinking that the drama would have had more impact if it was 10 episodes long. Then we really could have 'dive in' to a particular theme and then stay with it for a few weeks. Also, I word of advice if you, be careful what you wish for. The same thing happened in England. At first everyone was pleased and the quality was good. And slowly all the produced realised that they could make short plays in half the money.

Wonderful ending! this play emphasized that life in his imperfectionist is beautiful . It outlines a powerful message don't be scared to be judged by others enjoy your relationships to the fullest and make joyful memories for life is too short to be concerned about others. I enjoyed the sensitive side of male its a bold step by the channel and play script writer thankyou for showing us this. Also I loved how this play broke down the gender role stereotypes. Two other concepts that stood out for me was violence at home which is prevalent in our society today, but we are too scared to speak up about it and other beautiful message was acceptance and love for all kids there will be kids that are physically challenged, mentally challenged but they too deserve to enjoy this land and its beauty.
