NJ Pine Barrens looks beautiful! I've been wearing Rogue Laquer's Wicked (Falloween 2023) over dark purple and black cremes and I'm loving it! It's a purple, green, gold and black chunky glitter topper. I've been wearing it matte too (need to buy a glossy top coat) and it looks great!

Creeping Horror and Shapeshifter are definitely standouts for me. Do you wear the MT polish? I’m not really into Halloween polishes in particular. I do a nail stamping Halloween themed mani for trunk or treat. I do wear the colors you mentioned throughout Halloween week. The temperature where I live is so warm that it’s kinda hard to get into Halloween mood right now. It was 82 degrees today. I love it though! These polishes were great picks. Ahhh I get what you mean about the seductive hype of seasonal polishes! My weakness is Halloween and Christmas, especially flakiebombs 😂! This was a fun collection, it’s fun to see what different people gravitate towards! I myself have a bunch of orange flakies for Halloween, Nailed It does Halloween collections every year I think and that’s where I try to limit myself to for really season-specific stuff.

I sat aside a bunch of Potion Polish as she excels at fall from Vermont Getaway and It’s the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester, an orange reflective. Wildflower Lacquer’s Leo is a gorgeous orange shimmer. Plus my Kelli Marissa Halloween toppers with black and orange glitter, two bat glitters, and Kelli’s Green for some gooey nail art drips. I have PFD’s Goblins and Ghoulies and KB Shimmer’s Howl You Doin’? for more purples. Starrily’s Sleepy Hollow for a green shimmer. Cadillacquer’s Poltergeist orange with purple metallic glitter. Nailed It’s Trick or Treat is a fall leaf metallic flaky bomb that leans orange. I’m saving anything else for the vampire or witchy vibes video you’re doing. Really, I need more fingers and days in October.

October is the hardest month for me to curate my nail polish rack because I want to wear every spooky polish that I own. Actually, this month I created a Halloween advent calendar from the polishes I already have. I just picked 31 polishes (because I can lol), wrapped them up, put spooky stickers on, numbered the polishes and put them in a Halloween themed bag. I already forgot what's in each individual wraping, so every day is a surprise. It also alleviates burden of choice. There's too many cool Halloween polishes in the universe, I can't choose even a handful, but my favorite brands for October are ILNP, Colores de Carol (her holos like The scarecrow walks at midnight or Slappy's tie are iconic), A-England, Cuticula, Mooncat and a lot of stuff that comes out in September PPU.
I'm wearing ILNP Amber right now! I had a lot of trouble getting the magnetic pigment to pull for some reason though, I had to hover the magnet instead of placing my finger on top 🤔 maybe it needs thinner idk
