For those who thinks that perhaps she is a "different person behind the camera", oh yeah, she is much worse. All she thinks about is monetising her content off her family. You could tell that the other creators were really turned off by her incessant asking, because that's all she talks about: MONETISING.

Okay so I knew these people as I used to go to the same church as them and their daughter and I were in this sort of youth group thing togather (please note that this was back in 2019). As far as I remember her parents were actually nice and responsible people and the relationship between the girl and her parents is pretty close. Yes I disagree with posting something like that on the internet but I can tell you it's not as serious as it seems, though overall I don't like family channels anyway. Overall the main takeaway from what I'm saying is that they're not bad people just people who make bad decisions.
Like really at this point it's not even the case of "if there's mutual agreement", YOU as the parent has the responsibility of making the decision if YOU really want to put YOUR CHILD'S distress out there for the public to see. The camera is in your hand and you make that decision as a *parent* . Put the goddamn phone down and comfort your daughter instead of filming her. Why do we have different standards with accent jokes? When a stand-up comedian does it, like say, Russell Peters, everyone is laughing their ass off in support. When a random person thinks doing the same bit is funny for them, everyone boos them instead... Is there a nuance thing I'm missing? (I haven't seen the original vids of these MCU ppl so maybe I should watch them first?)
Personally I don't think there's anything wrong with making fun of accents as long as it's within a circle of people that you know and are in on it too. My friend of 8 years is Pakistani and I'm Chinese but we occasionally burst out in exaggerated Indian accents and yell at each other, that's just how we've always been. If you're not doing it maliciously, I don't think it's bad. However if you're doing it as a mockery or worse, then that's where the issue comes in. Hell, even comedians use accents in their jokes and it's acceptable. This family isn't doing any of that and they are certainly not entertaining anyone either.

This is the case of "everything you do is wrong if no one likes you". The chinese accent is funny when uncle roger does it, when steven he do it, when comedians do it but it becomes the greatest evil when someone that no one likes does it. Their salvaging effort works too when russel peters does it but it becomes an even greater evil when this family does it. At this point, everything the family does is evil and anything they do people will step on. The only right solution for them is to get off of all social media. Finally, I think it's pretty disgusting for people to interject themselves into the shoes of the family members and start seeking justice on behalf of those kids who didn't say anything. The family seem to be using the social media as their "business" i.e. bread and it's funny how no one is considering the fact that even if there are overlap, the kids are not so dumb to not realise that the money used on them comes from this "poorly managed business". I don't see how the kids are mistreated to the extent where the internet demands the psle kid to be avenged. However, it is very apparent that the "justice league" are destroying the life bowl that probably sustain a portion of the kid's lifestyle. Thus they would imitate the unusual accent into something ridiculousthat most of us would laugh. I am aware that accent joke can be offensive to certain people, but to some extent, sometimes people just need a joke to understand something especially the accent and eventually they will appreciate and respect it someday if they discover the language.
I agree that it's fine if someone uses a joke so they can understand and appreciate down the line is fine and all, but that should be kept between themselves and not on the internet. "Who are you trying to convince to appreciate a language when you don't even know how they'd react to said action?"
