Here in Oregon we have really fast rivers. One of my favorite ways to fish them is with a little Cleo spoon. Cast straight out and let it drift down into the tail out

Small tip that always works for me smalljaw fishing rivers is using a white mr twister on a pink jig head. Killer
I don't know how long you plan to have the truck but I've got a Rightline truckbed tent and an AirBedZ air mattress, they make em fitted to the make and model of your truck. Those things have made parking lot camping at reservoirs/lakes/parks/etc. feel like luxury camping. 250 bucks or so and you'd have a great longtime many use set up! Once I got it I started rethinking all my trips, going places I wouldnt before bc I couldnt camp or find a cheap air bnb that allowed my Pitt bull. The beds cover the wheel wells too, there'd be plenty of room for you, boo and the kiddo. My little s10 can sleep 2 and my dog easy. Cheers, fam 🍻

The reason I follow and watch your videos, is because you try and find new places to fish!!! Places I would never have thought of fishing 🤯 and you catch chunks from puddles! The struggle is real, and temperatures going up and down, seasons getting ready to change, need to switch up to match. River smallies love silver flicker shads. I’ve also been doing well with shallow running shad raps. Going after whipers tomorrow for my staycation. Been getting largies today on a chatter bait and red crawfish flicker shads.

I’ve been fishing current for the past two months. It’s a lot of fun, but yeah, Ned rig helps a lot in those slack spots. Definitely easier to find fish during summer with a cooler water system. You da man fam

Great vid again...!! Try using a treble hook on the tail of the swimbait. Use a piece of mono or fluorocarbon to attach it...saves you a lot more fish. Wish we had those species in the Netherlands...!

Suggestin You should play the smallmouth more. Loosen your drag and tire them out a little. They have a lot of fight in them. The larger ones will go for topwater lures like poppers or jitterbugs.

That current is what we fish 90 percent of the time. Try using meps spinners with a gold blade. Kills the small mouth
willis outdoors I tried a spinnerbait, and an underspin, Nothing. Then a jig, and paaa powww!

You should of used a slip bobber with cut bait in the calmest water you can find. I KILL the catfish and walleye out that canal. Also look for the boat ramp near the island next time your on the lake side. Keep fishing that spot it'll pay off forsure

I love small mouth fishing. I got a 3+ lb. small mouth over labor day weekend on a small ultra light set up. WOW it was a blast!! I took a play from your play book a jig and night crawler. It works. Great video.
Well it wasn't giant ones like dad (aka milliken) has been catching, but I would have fun catching those all day. Can you put a boat in there? Just a thought to give you more access to the glory holes. 👍👊
Hey buddy what’s you opinion on barometric pressure and fishing. I’ll start off saying that when I was young we just used corn or worms for bluegill/sunfish and you can catch them usually all day without fail. Anyway as I got older and fished for ‘big’ bass lol! everyone said they play off the barometer and almost always falling is when you will catch. Now I know tidal waters play with different variables greatly but what is your opinion on barometric pressure and fishing? I’ve never seen a true correlation in this and never seen anyone talk about it on their channel in regards to low/high/falling/rising pressure. I’d appreciate any info you have!
