I’m Alex Etches, a golf professional and golf UA-camr. If you don’t know me, I started playing golf at 10 years old, turned professional at 22 in the UK, and have been creating entertaining and informative golf content on different platforms for the last 10 years. One more club I don’t need to be curious about. Thanks! I was going to buy a paradym(pre-orders are this Friday). And yep, I watched your vid on it. But it was just killing me with a $599 price tag. So I just grabbed a like new rogue st max ls on Callaway pre-owned for under $320 shipped. Thanks again for your reviews, you made my decision a lot easier. I just don’t see a new club that’s worth $600-$750 (for me at my level) when I can just get the rogue for half the price. I’ll spend $750 when there’s some crazy tech that’s a game changer…or when I get to that play level.
I see people spend more money buying a driver because it’s “cheaper” over the course of a few years. If you get properly fit for a driver, the cost can be offset because you’ll be set for 3+ years (most likely more).

Out of all the reviews I’ve watched I can say Alex that you were getting the most out of the stealth 2 it sounded so powerful when you hit it that ball flight was like a missile. Players with fast ball speeds get the most out of taylormade drivers and that’s why a lot of people couldn’t hit the original stealth

I had the stealth plus and the face started to peel or crack.
Taylormade sent me a new stealth 2 plus head and it does seem to go more forward with less fade and lower spin. I do like it so far. Only 1 round in but drove 2 par 4s in my 1st round. Hit 2 balls on certain holes as long as i have ever hit on those 2 particular holes.
Is it holding up well? Just got mine
Brenda’s bush seems to feature in many a review. Love the style. A few great shots and some terry duckworth’s 😂. Nothing left. Can you play a fade (on purpose).?
Rick Shiels Golf has tested all 3 Stealth models for him the Standard model and the Plus model are powerful drivers but moderately forgiving, although he noted a small improvement over the previous model what do you think?
Absolutely - Like most releases, some will see benefits and others won’t. I can’t say it’s better for everyone because that would be a lie 👍 I love it though. It’s class for me

Interesting to see if they have improved forgiveness. Love my stealth but there is definitely more forgiving options out there.
According to Rick Shiels it's even worse on forgiveness than the first stealth.

Just looks like a new paint jobby, did the first carbon face have issues with epoxy separation? i'm sticking with my sim2
I found out the other day that there were 2 cases with face issues in Australia! Apparently both faults were abnormal looking and weren’t due to due to contact with a golf ball 👀
Tommy's dedication really shines when he is willing to trek into the deadly Australian Outback to get the shot.

So paradym or stealth2? We need a heads up comparison.
Word of advice: After you hit it, the cameraman should point the ball tracking towards the centre of the fairway. that way you will never miss a fairway. Its just science

What App are you using on the phone that gives you yardage and also why are you doing yards and not meters as you are in Aus?
Australian audience makes up for a very smell percentage of the world that uses yards. App is Hole19

sim2 & stealth having a baby is the stealth 2
Just as stealth is a sim 1 with a carbon face, stealth 2 is a sim 2 with a carbon face. That’s the whole sum of the tech.
Drivers are for making money not better golfers, I don’t think if you middle a callaway epic from 5 years ago to these new carbon drivers that all look basically the same and with children’s colours. I’ve just got a Rogue st max and only changed from my PXG because the paint was coming off

How long do you think the carbon face (with rubber bumper layer) will last? Two, 5, how many years?
I bet, it will soften out within 3 to 5 years and then after the head is hazardous waste.

I think full carbon head with a carbon fiber face is like the lightbulbs, designed to be obsolite in no-time and require new buy every few years time.
There is a lasting lightbulb at Livermore Fire Station. Had them Philips and what not manufacturers used the proper thred, all produced lightbulbs would still be in use instead of the 10’000 hrs.

Meh. The Stealth wasn't that great. Honestly my SIM2 kinda sucked, my old M5 was decent.
People who fall for golf companies shit are mugs. Tested this club yesterday and compared it to the M1. No difference whatsoever. ITS ALL ABOUT THE SHAFT PEOPLE. The amount of golfers i meet who just dont realise this is beyond mad.

Never got the "looks" thing really. If its a better club and helps me hit the ball further and more accurately, I couldn't care less if it looks like a big floppy wang. In fact, it could even be called "The Wang" and I still wouldn't care.
