This was a hard video to watch I’m so happy she survived this OD, made me wake up to how really really dangerous drugs are and how if you feel trapped it’s ok to ask for help.
This video was actually very cathartic for Demi she said. She was also surrounded by support. Her therapist, life coach, and family came and supported her making it. Scooter and her team made sure she was always in a good space and wasnt overwhelmed by the emotions she was reliving. Her therapist and life coach checked in at each cut and talked to her about what she was feeling. She was VERY well taken care of. Also the disco ball should be haunting its suppose to be the symbolism of the partying and drug use.
I’m in recovery and I’m so thankful that she made this. I’ve been in similar situations, waking up in hospitals. It feels like long overdue representation; shifting away from the “addicts choose this” narrative that makes people so hesitant to open up and get help. It’s tough to watch because it’s tough to live through, I applaud her 👏♥️
Oh my gosh, your energy is so contagious! Started the video, saw your smiling face's and your excitement, and I literally could not stop smiling! You are both such a joy to watch...Your reaction to this was incredible, you were both so sincere and worried about Demi, empathizing with her traumatic experience! This was truly a privilege, thank you for reacting to this!
Addiction is a terrible thing. And if you think it only manifests with respect to alcohol and drugs, you're wrong. You can become psycho-emotionally addicted to just about anything, and you very probably are, even if you've never drank any alcohol or taken any drugs (not even an aspirin.) You can become psycho-emotionally addicted to eating, using food to relieve stress, make you happy, lessen emotional pain, cover over loneliness, or as a bribe to get yourself to do what you'd rather not do. I know, because it was by learning how to overcome psycho-emotional addictions that I was finally able to actually follow a diet and lose over 100 pounds. When you're fighting an addiction, the Devil on your shoulder who tries to seduce you will whisper, "one more time won't matter" or "just once will be OK." What he won't tell you is that making even one exception sets a precedent that he (and you yourself) will use against you in the future. If you can't exercise perfect self discipline, then you'll find you can't exercise self discipline at all, at least not in the long run.
Love both of your energies and this video and song are something else ❤️🩹 you should react to her/their album Dancing With The Devil … The Art of Starting Over
Thank you! ☺️ You can actually hear our original thoughts on Demi’s whole Album “Dancing With the Devil… The Art of Starting Over” here: spotify.link/PzGlpeQDMyb
I wonder if the same clothes at the emd amd the disco ball over the bed is supposed to symbolize what was spoken about in rhe 3rd documentary..i dont wanna spoil it for anyone. But I wonder that from also the look on her face
"Requiem For a Dream" broke me too!! Try watching it after coming down from MDMA. I was young and dumb and my friends used to like watch that or "Party Monster" both movies suck when you are coming down. I still cannot watch Requiem! :(
Hi guys!! Really, thanks for uploading the reaction🙏🏼🙏🏼 I love this song in the depths of my heart, so I recorded my cover hehehe😊 Hope you hear it and I hope you like it! Greetings;)
I don’t know if I’m the only one who thinks that, but I think that the disco ball represents the addiction and how it’s always going to be there, lurking in the shadows, waiting for an opportunity to come back.
I love the song, love the video, but I just wish that the video was portrait buy her eyes instead of her actually laying on a hospital bed , I wish they had an actress doing her part , that’s all , but overall amazing
the way yall are biased against scooter because of his petty argument with taylor, without knowing anything about him is pathetic, i just wanted to let you know
I mean Scooter has his shady moments but what has he done for Justin Bieber all throughout his career and now what he’s doing for Demi shows how great he is as a manager. Thank god she dropped Phil McIntyre
That’s the same outfit she wore the night of her OD. That night was shown in the documentary and it’s the same outfit
it must have been so difficult to remake the entire night for her. with the outfit and the hospital bed and everything
Her live performance was FLAWLESS
the man was actually her drug dealer and the one who left her for dead after taking advantage of her
And they can’t find that man ?
@@Hoo_huu they found him, there’s a interview that he gave to TMZ
@@juliogomes3789AN INTERVIEW! Was he not arrested?!

She needs to cut ties with Scoot Brawn asap. He seems so toxic and seems to enable and encourage her drug use.
