The old man on the couch and the woman in the background are my grandparents... Cecil and Dorothy Burchardt. My old pop did this as a one off but my nan did bit work in everthing from Anne of Green Gables to A country Practise. They were the best. God bless them both...I miss them everyday xo

@@calista910 I've no idea. My family knew they got small gigs in TV and Ad work from time to time but we only discovered they worked with Tex at my grandmothers wake. Never seen so many smiles at a funeral. They were just happy to be getting work at their age. They were both near 70 in this video God bless em.

I was just singing it in my bathroom in front of mirror, had even forgotten title of the song .... I was 15 when the singer introduced me to magic mushrooms on his Birthday (they were fresh and he'd given most away) Like a funny and fond flashback and obviously having seen them live many times as th bass player Greg was my Bf, I just found it funny that aged 57 I still remember everything!! Every word too!💜

Can Mary fry some fish, Mamma
Cause I'm as hunger as can be
Oh lordy how I wish, Mamma
You could keep that baby quiet
Cause my head is killing me
I saw my ex again last night, Mamma
She was at the dance at millers store
She was with that Jacky Wite, Mamma
I killed them both and they're burried
    Under Jenkins in the morgue
You think I'm psycho don't you mamma
    Mamma pour me a cup
You think I'm psycho don't you mamma
You better let 'em lock me up
Don't hand me Johnny's pup. Mamma
Cause I might squeeze in too tight
I'm having crazy dreams again, Mamma
So let me tell you about last night
I woke up in Johnny's room, Mamma
Standing right there beside his bed
With my hands around his throat, Mamma
Wishing both of us were dead
You think I'm psycho don't you mamma
    I just killed Johny's pup
You think I'm psycho don't you mamma
You better let 'em lock me up
You know that little girl next door, Mamma
I believe her name was Betty Clark
Don't tell me she's dead, Mamma
Cause I just saw her in the park
We were sitting on a bench, Mamma
Thinking of a game to play
Seems I was holding a wrench, Mamma
Then my mind just walked away
You think I'm psycho don't you mamma
I didn't mean to break your cup
You think I'm psycho don't you mamma
Oh Mamma why don't you get up

Can never envisage the beasts of bourbon without Kim Salmon, Brian Henry Hooper, or Spencer P Jones. They made Greg Perkins what he is.

+Johnny Trash So you can envisage it because it's in the video above: one of their best songs off one of their best albums, without Brian. But they are all good line-ups. I'm a big fan of James Baker's work too. Went downhill after Kim left though I thought. Enjoy it.

thats right Kurt it was 1984, I was there. I took some photos of Tex to promote this album. My boyfriend at the time managed the Johnnys, Spencers other band, so I also did the stills for the videos of bleeding heart which we shot in the snowy mountains near Mt koscuisko and Buzz Saw Baby shot in Tamworth. A nostalgic blast from the past.

I ran into Tex in George St Sydney in the early 90s, he and I were pissed as farts, we exchanged a few sentences and got on with our lives. But it's a good short story to tell at parties...

Greg, as I know him, introduced me to magic shrooms when I was 15 as he was given a rather large amount for his Birthday so he distributed at his party.. I've spoken to him over the years whenever I had the chance to go back stage, mainly to inquire about wellbeing of mutual friends (I moved back to Holland in 1983) Now, aged 57 all these old lyrics are coming back to me like a bad smell LOL! Hope he's well! Love from the Netherlands 💜

+Elaine Ayton ... The original artist is Leon Payne - a Texas country and western singer/writer from 1950s.
