Thank you Joe! Just checked Amazon and saw this camera for $79. IMO this could be one of the best bang for the buck cameras out there.

I was shocked to see that mine uses the same app under a different name, I figured that would be the biggest difference between your camera and mine. I have a similar solar light, installed on a fence post I sunk just for the camera. Mine is shaded by a live oak in Texas but still stays charged without issues.

Interesting, these little cameras with solar chargers are so convenient not having to pull them down to change batteries or to charge them. Thanks for stopping by.

Wireless video cameras are easily disrupted by a mobile phone signal, or a $5 interference device.

Hi Bruce, great video, do you have any idea how long the camera would work for on a full charge without the solar panel attached?

I do not know the answer to that question. It would depend on how often the camera senses motion and what record time settings are used.

The camera info says it has a 9000mAh battery. I also found this in the manual. It states "Working time 180 days(50 times wake up per day).

@@DIYHomesteadProjectsDIYHP10 thanks so much for that Bruce, seems to be reasonable figures.
