This is a very Pinscher-kind-of-love 😉 Wagging a tail, defending of independence with barking, wild plays and sleeping together under a quilt when winter nights are cold 🥰
Sorry for your loss, I got one that’s 16 and will be 17 in August. Blind, deaf, allergy scabs, but still alive and kicking. His nose is still very strong and he knows his way around.
What a wonderfully lovable and defiant, intelligent pup !! .. Have have two - brothers - Bunky and Panda .. They are family, my kids, def NOT "pets" !!
Once I read (unfortunately, I can't find this article), the final height depends on proportions between the parents, however, I don't remember the pattern, something like if the mother is bigger than the father, their children will be slightly bigger, if otherwise, a bit smaller. Occasionally, we meet a mid pinscher and it is when you can tell mine is really a miniature one, the other pup is c. 10 cm taller :)
Well, mine is a very lively and quite noisy creature. Generally, he doesn't like strangers, he needs some time to get used to a new person or animal. He isn't a brave heart type of dog. He loves spending time with me, we are really into long walks, and he is a good companion for jogging. Unfortunately, he developed some allergies, from time to time has problems with his kidneys, however, I read this breed is considered a generally healthy one. Another min pin which I know is also very lively and likes barking. Oh, sometimes they are quite stubborn, I believe most small dogs are. He is quite smart, I taught him some tricks and he is eager to do them for treats :) I'm really fond of him, he is my little shining black diamond, yet he is more like a loving space and fresh-air pirate with courage issues ;), than a calm home loving pet awaiting petting and fondling. So it's up to you, you must decide if you are a person who has got lots of energy to share with your dog and if you are patient enough to stand its barking. If you are a homebody, this breed not quite might go together with you.
Not true. I have a min pin and he is 20 lbs… super toned athletic body with not a stitch of fat on him… I’ve seen min pins be as small as 10 lbs all the way up to the size of mine
It was a bone-shaped toy made of sinew, he loves chewing them :) Unfortunately, he is too small and his digestive system is far too fragile to eat any bone :(
Exactly like my boy who sadly passed away after 18 years of love snd joy . Best breed ever ❤️

Can anyone in the comments recommend getting one of these dogs?
I want one but I'm trying to do a little research.
