When I was a freshman in college in 1966 I bought an early 60s white TR4. Drove it almost 1,000 miles to see relatives. My butt was sore for 2 weeks. Spent all summer fixing rust and shooting 3 coats of Ford Candy Apple red. It was GORGEOUS. Drove it to college. 3 weeks later a guy backed into and crushed the hood. I was heart broken.
Really beautiful car… The thing that always got me about these British cars is most of them had plenty of room for six cylinder like an MGC….. they could’ve so easily put a straight six in there… Beautiful car !
Beautiful sound, which I do miss. Looking forward to the better weather and end of lockdown so that I can get my TR4 back out on the road. We do have one great advantage over the LHD and that is that we get to look over the bonnet bulge when driving the car.

Spectacular in black
Tr-250 owner here, nice….
Era splendida e particolare.
No OD on this?....those cars needed that feature for coping with freeway speeds.
Nice but, why do you guys always short shift these cars? My old TR6 came to life at 4-6k rpms
I agree, It's because he doesn't know how to drive these cars properly.
❤
Beautiful car . Awful exhaust note.
Sounds like a poor man's farm tractor to me.
Exactly the source of the engine.
@@johnclayden1670 And that is why those engines were the most reliable components in those cars.
