On their IDDP Soyeon said she made a 100% rap song because she wanted people to add them all being rappers to the list. She knew her team could do it. The other girls were nervous but I think they ate.

Shuhua actually said in an interview she wants the entire group to also be rappers. Like, these girls want it all, to produce, sing and rap and they all have the talent for it (only Shuhua doesn't wishes to be producing music, but she might change her mind someday).

I actually kinda love their looks/outfits in this video. I think it actually plays even more into the hip hop feel cause it just feels much more comfortable and in the fashion for that while each of them still has a distinct feel to them that's different than the others, like Shuhua with her button up. Kinda love the bucket hat look on Soyeon too, and how for most of the video you really can't see her eyes. Really does kinda make her look like the boss. Reminds me a bit of the look that Bailey Sok has in the KDA Drum Go Dum video. Also totally agree, while they all did great on their rap verses, I did particularly love Yuqi's. Her voice just goes so well with it. Also, Soyeon is actually the only one who *doesn't* rap at all on this song and just does the main chorus/verses. She basically totally let the other members take most of the spotlight for the song.

i’m pretty sure yuqi was initially recruited as a rapper because cube loved her husky voice, but later found she was better suited to vocals (at least at the time). i’m so glad she’s rapping now, our multitalented yuqi!!
g idle is STILL underrated, imo. They need to be known to entire world.

@@ablack012993 Not really, majority of kpop fans are only interested in artists from the biggest labels and don't care about anything else :) IDLE actually had great promotion, they were literally going on a world tour in both US and Europe, means they had enough following to do that. Don't spam "CUBE bad" like a brainless sheep from r/kpop.
Their situation when it comes to recognition/fame might change after this comeback, since it's doing dumb good and is #1 everywhere, almost nonstop.

It is a flex song written/composed/produced/etc... by Soyeon , she wrote every verse thinking of the members so it has a lot of sense behind it
Soyeon is known to be one of the best rapper of K-Pop (without gender) and by making this song she wanted to show everyone that her group is the best rap team !
However she doesn't even rap in the song, she only do the chorus
Yuqi was a rap trainee, back when she was a Cube trainee, however it's true that having THE Soyeon... It's like having a powerful rap line by her alone
But I hope someday in the future we will see a YuYeon rap sub-unit ! They would eat everything up
