@@shagadelic4210 They simply died. Nowadays yugioh is too complicated and the only game like that in recent memory is based on simplified Rush Duels which are unavailable outside of Japan. I don't know why but this combination of JRPG with a the CCG feels so much like my jam, i'll get a physical copy maybe next month as i've already gotten a few games recently.
Its a great game!. I've sunk like 100 hours already and I keep coming back!. I still havent finished the story and there are so many cool cards to collect. The addition of anime cards from completing special side quest also gives new ways to play.
I hope you got it... it's amazing. My #3 game of the year after Shin Megami Tensei V and Poison Control. It's like Pokémon but with a plot, characters, and an actual challenge to it.
this game is on sale right now so i'm gonna buy it. i wish more games did the "in school RPG" theme especially for stuff like card games where you can battle classmates.
Finally out and man glad I had interest in the game since it was announced. Hopefully it motivates Nintendo to push Cygames into making Dragalia Lost full game on Switch.
I kept seeing this as a mobile game, and ignoring it. Then the mobile game said, "Look, you are missing out on a great TCG", by going into an anime setting. For this to be made from a mobile game to a full game on the switch is amazing. I really wish this were the case with Terra Battle. It's been hard to get into mobile games after that shut down. Edit: It's funny seeing the opponent blow up when they lose.

You know, it's great that Naruto got with Hinata, in the end. I remember when they were taking the Written Chunin Exams. She offered to share her test answers to Naruto.
Ive been wanting a good card game rpg for years in the same vein as the Yugioh ones that spanned the game boy and DS. This really does well to make this feel like something to scratch that itch as well as provide much needed scale.
i reach grandmaster in the mobile version, and the only money I put were for cosmetics.. safe to say the game is very ftp friendly should you know how to build & pilot your decks
Its a great game!. I've sunk like 100 hours already and I keep coming back!. I still havent finished the story and there are so many cool cards to collect. The addition of anime cards from completing special side quest also gives new ways to play. Everything is free. You beat players, get points, get new cards and you can even duplicate cards with in game point later in the game.
The mobile version is very very "f2p" friendly tho and most of the time people spend for cosmetic rather than packs(including me, can't resist Code Geass leader skin). You can earn packs from doing various side quests. For example beating every NPC in the starting area lets you unlock a basic deck for each class and 10 packs after talking to the quest giver who is also found in the same area.
Been playing the demo. Seems like a fun game, basically Magic the Gathering with some minor differences. I've been wanting a Yugioh game in the same vein as this one (a world to explore, people to talk to/battle, etc.) but this will have to do for now.
Look forward to the Yugioh rush duel switch game getting localized supposedly during this fall. Very much similar to this one but with the yugioh spin.
Yes, it has dual audio, though you have to access the in-game menu options first to change between them. So you'll have to start it with English voices and play for a while.
So does anyone know when the digital version will be available to play? Pre ordered mine and been up since midnight waiting to play it but it's still locked
How many cards are in the game. I imagine it takes the mobile cards base set and adds the expansion sets so I want to know until what expansions are in this game. Also there are ways to buy cards/sets/decks with real money? The story is original or is the anime story retold becouse I did not like the anime the whole 5 episodes that I saw.
It has Classic, Darkness Evolved and Rise of Bahamut. There are also a little more than 50 new cards you can get by defeating specific NPCs iirc. There's no real money involved for cards/sets/decks, though there should be a season pass thing. The story has a lot of plot beats that are the same as the anime (but different orders and a few new characters involved), so I'd say if you didn't enjoy the anime story and characters, it'll likely feel the same.
And i hope the card games don't get in the way of the story. I love how they make changes to the anime to put the player character in. Tag force series went down the drain in later series when they cut down on the story and focused only on card battles. It's now dead btw.
So this tracks wins but not losses? Does it track how many battles? I want to know my win and loss % but if it doesnt tracks losses, total battles and wins ONLY, thats a fail.
Guessed the score exactly right. I guess that means it was a good review. I enjoyed Magic the Gathering many years ago but have not liked the video games since they have no campaign but i liked Gwent in the Witcher. This seems like a good combining card battles with the narrative of a JRPG. I must say i am interested in maybe getting it.
I haven't played any digital tcg since the Pokemon tcg for gameboy but i was REALLY into that when it came out x,D This sounds fun so I'll guess I'll check it out
Can somebody tell me if you can change gender/protagonist ? I choose female and made a lot of progress in the demo but now I want the male protag… please help
Honestly, why cant we get a TCG game or anime where the world isnt obbessed with card games but has a more realistic idea of teens playing at lunch and afterschool
This is something that yugioh refuses to give us for years.
They started making adventure style yugioh games back in the day but what happened to themm😢

It's a shame that they didn't added expansions for this game back in Japan. Would love to see more cards added in
728 cards is still a pretty hefty collection!
This!! This is how yugioh tag force series should have gone. Full 3d exploration with quests on the side.
