Except Nier's VA, unless they get the old man Nier VA as his voice actor. Remember, OG Replicant was JP only and what we get outside JP is Gestalt where they change Nier into old man because westerners like buff old man more than slim bishounen, they said.

Honestly the fact they got as many voice actors back for this game as is is, impressive and Liam will always be Weiss’s voice so glad they didn’t forget to put him back. What’s more impressive is probably Laura doing Kaine I cannot imagine that contract was cheap lol

Apparently they said in an interview that if Replicant v.122 sells half the amount what Automata did, they'll consider either adding the father as an option into the game or making a remaster of Gestalt, not sure which.
@@JB-ci8fc Can't see them doing another seperate release; I mean, the games are nearly identical other than a few lines and the character. DLC seems more likely - the only real work they'd need to do is the dialogue.

Eventho in the beginning, the choir is beautiful, but the Gods Bound by Rules they showed in the prev trailer are Big Mehh 😕 They really need to give us the option to switch between new and Original songs.

I was afraid this wasn't gonna have an english version given this is a remake of Replicant not Gestalt. Thankfully we will be able to hear Kaine's beautiful ranting once again.
I pity the poor souls discovering this masterpiece of a game 11 years later. The original Nier was an unseen diamond, overshadowed by the rather mediocre Final Fantasy XIII that was released at the same time.

@@joined_shores_art The big twist of NieR Replicant is that the shades (enemies of the game) are the last humans left. This leads to why there are no humans left in Automata. You kill what is left of them in Replicant unknowingly. Also, Shadowlord is the real Nier..

Reading the comments, I'm probably gonna experience better storytelling than NieR Automata, that's nearly unbeatable.
I was afraid this wasn't gonna have an english version given this is a remake of Replicant not Gestalt.
Thankfully we will be able to hear Kaine's beautiful ranting once again.
I pity the poor souls discovering this masterpiece of a game 11 years later. The original Nier was an unseen diamond, overshadowed by the rather mediocre Final Fantasy XIII that was released at the same time.
Final fantasy 13 was better though
