yeah well when i tried subbing the rest of young love music my pc died and i lost all my files and also i've seen that there are more people subbing for them now so i thought of stopping because, like, i used to translate from japanese and not straight from korean so i always had to triple check not only the kanjis but the korean lyrics (which was hard as my korean isn't good) to make sure i wasn't mistranslating which took a lot of my time... so i thought it'd be better to not sub anymore and leave those other subbers do the work (altho there are still so many songs they're ignoring and not translating it makes me mad)
i was actually planning to leave this channel dead but i found some of these intro videos and thought, why not? but i have no idea if i'll do smth else with this channel, sorry for leading my 64 subs down :(
i might return subbing short videos for smol fandoms (not only halo but maybe d.i.p. too, groups who have almost no sub) to practice my korean but i do NOT promise you anything.........

What's happening now? They haven't posted in 6 months
ooohh... sit down because it's quite a ride...
so. the short story is that they are inactive, without a company, but despite the members going separate ways they're not exactly disbanded.
the long story.... in april/may this year, their contract with histar ended and no one decided to renew (it wasn't said if that decision came from the members or the company but let's be real histar didn't do half their job as a company and I don't see why they'd stay) HOWEVER they said that they would not disband, just leave the company. if I'm not wrong soompi translated the exact article about that
sungho/dino has been in the military since august 2018 and still hadn't returned, and since he doesn't have any social media we're pretty in the dark when it comes to him
inhaeng I also don't know much... he posts on instagram once in a month or two but I have no idea if he's under any other company or even if he has plans of remaining an idol/musician
jaeyong has signed with an actor agency if I'm not wrong? I don't quite remember but he's on a drama that is airing later this month, called people with flaws.
younghoon/ooon, yoondong and heecheon are all currently competing on produce 101 japan. differently from the korean seasons, all trainees are independent (not under any company) and the final group is not going to appeal for the korean market, so the group will be jpop. also it's not temporary. I think this week the seventh? or eight episode was aired and they're all strong on top11, but the final is in a month, on december 11th, so they might not redebut. I personally hope they do make it, even if the group is permanent and towards the japanese market, them signing up with a company is already a good start.
their situation is pretty similar to b.a.p's, the members are no longer under their original company and in the meantime separate, but there's plans to one day have a joined schedule again. kinda sucks, but it's at least better than complete disband imo.

you know that I never put much thought abt it? 🤔 but I'm not entirely sure if they can't use the name halo... for example rainbow has decided to comeback for their tenth anniversary, but they didn't renew their contracts when they stopped activities before, right? I'm not entirely sure how that works, honestly... maybe they'll be able to use the name halo in the future, maybe their company won't allow...
yeah, maybe their new company will allow some reunited schedule, maybe if it's just a fanmeet or a special song. of course it's not a guarantee, but if they have a company it's easier for that to happen...

HALO is coming in my country (Bulgaria) in March for their 2018 tour (I think that no other kpop group has ever came here before). I knew nothing about HALO but now I can tell who HeeCheon is (I learned it 2 hours ago XD). I only listened to their song "Here I am" but I didn't stan them. Now I'm trying to get to know them better because I want to be prepared for the concert and I think that this video is very helpful although the title says otherwise XD Anyways, thank you so much ^^

Nathalie yeah I actually forgot to mention it in video so I did a small Easter egg on the subtitles but it's so (subtle ?) I don't think it's noticeable orz we are called halove, which is halo + love, however we also have a shorter name which is have (헤브) and it's the one they use the most ~~ so yeah we are haves! Since we /have/ halo and halo /have/ their fans, something like that,,, Ooon made it. It's also really cute I love our name.

I really appreciate what you've done to "promote" them as one might say. HALO deserve it so much and if they were to flop it'd be so unfair so things like this are probably really helpful. (Also I was really glad to see another hardcore HALOve because they're rare as you already know)

Hi! I'm new in the fandom and are there any variety shows they participate in? So I could learn more about them
hmmm they do have some participation in programs but there aren't many, and some has no subs :< there is idol school (featuring bestie and toppdogg) but it was over three years... there's also two episodes of hello korea with ooon and jaeyong, and two on the second season (hello korea 2) with all, ooon also appeared on a program for the ollimpics that has two eps.... but all of those has no subs.
they do have an episode on the immigration, 3 asc episodes and three or four appearances on pops in seoul-- kbs has a program called "the beauty" where heech was a fixed mc and ooon appeared as a guest, there's a program I THINK is called dream team (10 vs 100) where halo also appeared, and those all have subtitles.
I'm sure there is more but I don't remember right now the names or anything like that... there is a lot on vapp as well, before they had their own channel they often appeared on idol x idol's programs! and they also post behind videos on their official channel called "hey!halo", but not all is subbed. we're a fandom that barely have fan subbers :(

they are over three years old and like 30+ songs, they aren't rookies :/ it's just that histar sucks at promoting so people pay no attention to them (but tbh they've been doing things better this year), there is one team who used to sub but they rarely post now
