Totally agree,, I try to listen everyday as an affirmation , and begin a pattern ( restart a pattern), that once was an everyday way of life, you fall , get back up, find the humor in it, embrace the pain and percervere..,6 yrs ago, everyone in my life, other half of 20 yrs, sister's, and even mom, had all betrayed me within a few months...I've never asked for help once from any of them...and when I seriously needed help, as I raised my autistic daughter alone, and working...I was seriously headed for a breakdown, and the last straw, is when I asked my mom to pls take my daughter and enroll her her local school district ..she said no .I'm like mom , I never asked u for anything, and I'm standing before u telling u , I need help, I need to go check into a hospital, and seek help before I destruct....she said she couldn't cause she had my older sister there and her grown ass son, and my 18 yr younger sister...I said my daughter can sleep on couch..she literally turned me away..( black sheep of family)
..anyhoo . That's the first and I ly time I felt I was broken to the soul..had the breakdown, few weeks later and called my mom and said I'm on way to hospital...I'm not asking, I'm telling you and all our family that lives with you, can chip in and help u with my daughter,, it'll only be 3 weeks or maybe a little more... It get your granddaughter off the bus, her clothes r packed..if u r not here to get her, and she goes into system...I tell u this,,, I will disown you all, for we have been there for every single one of you many times, no ?s asked, cuz that's what family does,, and I'm seriously not even asking twice...she was there to get her..thank God..I had to pay her to take care of my daughter, which expenses is understandable,, but she took all my money..not much..but it doesn't cost a couple grand to care for a 12 yr old for a month....but the day she turned me away and her granddaughter, and defending my sister's for sleeping with my x...was when I realized at the end of of the day...you only got you to trust, rely on and to save you, so I bounced back very slowly...then my mom needed me..for those that were living with her, were not paying her rent or helping with cleaning or anything..so of course I moved down to my momswith my daughter ,, so I can help her with house, yard , cooking , cleaning and finances,, and evicted 3 dead beats... But a yr later I got cancer...I'm like no biggie , this is just gonna b inconvenient for a yrish .but I got this...all the fires I walked through and 9 lives I had, cancer ain't shit, and my daughter needs me for life..so treatment to fail,,is not an option..and after radiation chemo, I was cleared good to go...but man does that process tear u up....and I was in a boat to depend on my family ....which they use me thinking I'm stupid , financially and I do all the work around here..I'm. not looking for any pity..or sympathy..I don't like that shit..I'm just sharing my warrior story...so as I was getting better...much negative and toxicity in this environment,, and I can't seem to bounce back to full potential...and I think..wtf ..where's my strong, where's my independence, where's my crazy warrior, survivalist essence...I know it's there...just can't quite grasp it...and then I heard thos song and a few more from the fearless..and boom..I was up dancing , thinking ,, there she is...and I listened to it several times a day, for like a week..I became positive and productive..and then a week after..I was down sick, ( not I'll, just depleted of energy and strength and I must say , hope seemed distant....and I realized I hadn't listened to my motivation song, and then I played it for days and boom ..bouncing back..every time I stopped listening I would relapse to doubt and laziness..so screw that..I now must start me day with warrior motivator and Not stop for even 1 day..seriously this song has fixed the fractures that my soul indeared, , it awakened my heart again and my thirst for life, whichever most importantly, will help my daughter.ty for art of music that speaks truth...this is my jam.
