Are You Right With God? [Are you Ready?]

In the New Testament, Jesus said people should be able to watch the signs of the times and get ready for His return. Part of of being ready means getting right with God. But, what does living right with God look like?

Being right with God means dealing with the sin in our lives. Jesus didn’t die so we can continue to sin. He died so we could be set free from sinning! Thank goodness for the cleansing blood of Jesus that washes away all our sin! Although God forgives and we our saved by His grace not our works, we need to align our decisions with what honors God through our conduct. There are a lot of people that consider themselves “believers” and even claim Jesus is Lord. However, do they really consider what’s pleasing to Jesus before they make decisions, or are they simply doing what they think is best and what they want for themselves? If people truly believe Jesus is Lord of their lives they would want their decisions and behavior to be pleasing to Him and the Father. Jesus is returning soon. Make it a priority to spend time in His word every day. Fellowship with Him every day so you can be ready for wherever He wants to lead you and be ready for His return!
