Yeah! Those are the genuine feedback from Nasa astronauts about their experience aboard SpaceX Dragon.
So what is life inside the Dragon capsule?
Why do astronauts prefer it rather than others?
Discuss everything about this in today's episode of Tech Map.

    (Dragon’s achievement and reliability)
Genius! What inside SpaceX Dragon makes No one wants to fly on the other...As you know, Crew Dragon is a variant of Dragon version 2 besides Cargo, which is the only human-rated orbital transport spacecraft of the United States as of 2023 as well as plays a major role in Nasa's commercial crew program aims to ferry astronauts to and from the ISS. From its maiden launch in 2020 until now, the Crew Dragon capsule has achieved many achievements.

Great Video ! The SpaceX Crew Dragon grew from the many flights of the Cargo Dragon ! Soon the Boeing Starliner will be flying to the ISS with a Crew aboard... ULA will launch the Boeing Starliner with the Atlas 5 Booster Rocket and later when qualified the ULA Vulcan Centaur ! Also the ULA Vulcan Centaur will soon launch the First Test Cargo Flight of the Sierra Space Dream Chaser to the ISS. After six more contracted Cargo Dream Chaser flights, the Dream Chaser will be FREE to upgrade to the Crew Dream Chaser ! The Crew Dream Chaser will be the best and smoothest way to return from space to a Space Port runway ! Still waiting for the NASA Orion Capsule to be tested in space to simulate a Six Month Tour of Duty Lunar mission docked to the ISS and/or a three year mission to Mars and return ! With more than one provider to LEO NASA leadership will not have to kill another Crew because of a problem with one launch provider and NO back up plan ! ! ! The "Capsules and Space Planes to LEO" is part of the Vision 2 of 5 of the Vision for Space Exploration (VSE Presidential speech January 2004). The Tech developed to return to the moon to stay, can take US and the world to Mars and beyond... tjl

I still think that Bezos and Blue Origin should have bought the Starliner program from Boeing. Boeing doesn't have the business aggressiveness to promote Starliner in non-NASA manned spaceflight missions. Nor, to compete with crew dragon.

Billionaire Musk could live how and wherever he wants, but has decided to live near Starbase in a simple middle-class house. Yet he provides relative 5-Star luxury to astronauts that use his spacecraft.
He literally provides better to others around him rather than to himself.

I like SpaceX's work; but some of your writing is petty, mean. Like saying "poor Russian cosmonauts have to squeeze inside a Russian prison". The older Russion capsules & rockets are not brand new, but they are tested and safe. And their ships have been a work horse. They have delivered many supplies, astronauts and cosmonauts to the ISS safely.
You should put more effort into your research and writing. And try to be more articulate and write something worth listening to, worth reading.

The Soyuz has a orbital compartment that, among other things, gives privacy for taking care of personal needs. In addition, the Soyuz can have something close to a one-orbit rendezvous. I may be mistaken but the Dragon does not directly dock. It must be grappled by a robotic arm to complete docking. Give credit where credit is due. As far as Musk is concerned, SpaceX engineers did a good job despite Musk.

    • @arthurhamilton5222
      @arthurhamilton5222 2 місяці тому +4

The old Dragon 1 cargo capsule had to use the ISS's robotic arm to latch onto the station. Dragon 2, both crew and cargo variants, remotely docks with the ISS. Your disdain of Musk is in ignorance. Without Musk, we would be stuck with Boeing's Starliner as the most expensive LEO crew capsule. SX and it's engineers and other professionals, are a reflection of Musk's quest and perseverance in manned space exploration and exploitation.

The old version of Dragon used Canada Arm. Both crewed/unscrewed version of Dragon 2 dock without assistance from station. Total habitable volume of Soyuz is 321 sq ft, including orbital and re-entry modules. Dragon has 328 sq feet. The Sotuz has certainly been a reliable workhorse, but Dragon is the best crew vehicle currently flying. We will see about that when the crew version of Dream Chaser gets up there.

    • @trekie30122

The approach for Soyuz is very different from all other vehicles going to the ISS. Soyuz can match the plane of the ISS early in the flight and catch up to dock. Both vehicles are going in the same direction and one has to catch the other making it a much simpler trip. All international docking ring vehicles have to overtake the ISS, staying outside the sphere of danger until they are ready to approach the ISS. workign on a 3d plane rather than 2d an altitude change will change your relative speed and position to another object. For safety reasons the arriving ship stops to verify data for a safe approach after attaining the correct plane for docking.
You really should listen to the radio loop around docking. you might learn soemthing new and have a better understanding of what your talking about.

    • @pawnfish352
