I had an HTC One M8. I loved it so much even though the aluminum can get so hot in games, especially Pokémon Go. The dual front facing speakers are one of the old features from this phone's era that I truly miss. It wasn't super loud (especially with today's standards) but it was a proper speaker that blasted sound towards the user. The One M8 was my last phone before I finally switched to iPhone and I haven't looked back since. Good times though!
Last decent phone from them is M8. Owned M10 for 4,5 years and it was really horrible comparing to rivals. HTC always had bad and slow software, even in "good old days", but after 2016 it started to be really terrifying. Also owned Evo 3D and it was bad as a main device too, to be honest. Stock roms full of bugs, overheating, bad build quality. But it had a good design and cool features
You forgot about One XL. It's same as One X, but comes with Snap S4 and LTE support.
HTC one was really good. They had to introduce a new one with much better specs.
