it's mostly because the midi transcriptions floating around are *really* shit. Music made for these chips takes a lot more of articulation and dynamics into account; the midi files just go 100% velocity all the time.

Huge props for including My December. it's an underrated cut from the album, most creators probably would've just skipped it. So i'm glad to see it got some attention.
I just noticed that, despite remembering My December they missed High Voltage.

Back when I was in high school, I would often listen to this album while leveling up my Pokemon as I rode the city bus home. Back in those days I was playing Gen 1, but the nostalgia still hits hard here.

When I listened to "with you" in this video, I couldn't help but think about this.
I like to imagine there's some incredible pokemon lore still hidden from our eyes, even more than what we saw in legends Arceus. You know, the theories, the arceus we know being just a piece of its true self...
(and yes I know that wouldn't happen, we all know the drill, but let me sleep while I'm dreaming)
Or just new intimidating legendaries.
I really loved the concept of Legends because it added fear of the unknown and more space to imagine what the past could have been, so fierce and untamed. I would absolutely LOVE to see unova being readapted in a Legends game. So much potential. But we'll wait and see.
