@XahLee Do a review after 8 months of use. I was considering Charybdis MK2 keyboard. Svalboard looks tempting. Two things I don't like about it: the price is too high & it's not wireless.
Wonder how fast can you stroke a chord using Svalboard considering the average professional stenographer chorded around the 3-4.5 stroke per second using good ol' steno Machine. But yeah device seem like suited Better for steno than staggered keyboard.
sorry, don't know yet. since i haven't really started to learn. (i will be learning it for sure. keep an eye on my livestream) but judging by looking at the design, i think the classic steno keyboard design allow faster execution of chords, since all buttons are downward press, and allow you to press mulitple key by one finger, if you put finger between those big keys.
Did you ever considered using a 36 key keyboard? Home row mods is pretty interesting. I've been using it for 2 years now, it's pretty comfortable having every key easily accessible. You get used to using layer
The multitude of crazy ergo keyboards contrasted by the crusty original g502 is such a vibe lmao
Wow..
Never know you had a UA-cam channel!
Kudos for your website!
Thanks for the good work 👍
The Azeron Cyborg and Cyborg Compact also seem to be inspired by the Datahand.
yes, These like incredible!. do you use one?
@@superhero8750 I have the cyborg and use it for certain games
The TrackPoint makes me want to try it!
Huh. From the image before you moved it I thought it’d be like a gated joystick doing the up/down/left/right/in selection not 5 separate “key walls”.

What's your favorite keyboard in terms of ergonomics and helping with RSI?

@@XahLee Other thing that could add the hold function to the keys is a exclusive repeat key, that just repeats the last key pressed.
I use 34 key keyboard and I love it, but I absolutely hate home row due to lag.
@XahLee I also hate this 34 keys guy, he makes 34 keyboards much more complicated than it should be.
This looks awesome
Absolutely awesome, if these become mass-manufactured and the price comes down I'll definitely purchase
