Good video thanks….would you recommend fitting hydraulics to the tipper? Do you know much about the 800 model? Would you recommend it for a smaller farm?

Thanks for watching. We use the ATV quite a bit around the farm so I suspect on a smaller farm it would be useful as it is for our farm. Once you unlock the metal buckles holding the tray down, it very easily drops the load. I have never missed having hydraulics on them. Not across the 800 model so don’t have a view on it. Cheers.

Thanks for the video. We are looking at one for the end of the year and wanted to ask some reliability questions. What model is it? How’s the power? Have you had any belt issues? Have the brakes worn down much, either the pads or the rotors? Have you had any electrical issues? Is the bed hard to tip when it’s fully loaded? How’s the fuel consumption? And finally, how’s the build quality (welding, fitment, looseness…)?

Gday and thanks for the questions.
Model is the 1100D, power is very good. It is not designed for speed but in high range, I have done 60km per hour. I have happily towed a box trailer full of loosely packed wood if I am cleaning up paddocks and it pulls that without any issues. I have had no belt issues at all. The brakes are still good, it uses descent control so when you ease of the accelerator, it slows down without brakes. Had one minor electrical issue when a connection failed but it was easy to fix myself. The bed is locked against the tip position which means it very easily tips when you release the medal clamps. I haven't measured the fuel usage but it uses what I expect. We have tightened the bolts and screws a few times in two years, but it's a pretty quick activity. No issues with broken welds or anything like that. It is not designed for jumps or high performance but I am very happy with it for our use case around the farm.

It has 4 wheel suspension and I find it comfortable. You do sit in an upright position which I prefer as getting in and out is more of a step out than a step up. I could sit in the seat for hours spraying if I had to so I think it’s alright.
