Upon this he said: I ask from Allah pardon and forgiveness. My people are not capable of doing it. He then came for the second time and said: Allah has commanded you that you should recite the Qur'an to your people in two dialects. Upon this he (the Holy prophet) again said: I seek pardon and forgiveness from Allah, my people would not be able to do so. He (Gabriel) came for the third time and said: Allah has commanded you to recite the Qur'an to your people in three dialects. Upon this he said: I ask pardon and forgiveness from Allah. My people would not be able to do it. He then came to him for the fourth time and said: Allah has commanded you to recite the Qur'an to your people in seven dialects, and in whichever dialect they would recite, they would be right." - Shahih Muslim, 821a(sunnah.com) (9:20)- A statement of Ibn Hajm(rahimahullah) on the importance of Ilmul Qira'at (11:30)- Shaykhul Islam's(rahimahullah) statement (13:45)- Ilmul Qira'at is important for any person who is in the fields like Tafsir, Fiqh, Hadith, Grammar etc 📑Two examples of different recitations and their impact on Tafsir 1. The first one in which he talked about the coming and going of Jibril ['alaihis salaam] until the Ahruf became seven, can be found in Sahīh Muslim [821a] (sunnah dot com reference). The seven Ahruf are also mentioned in Sahīh Bukhāri [4991, 4992] and Sahīh Muslim [818, 819].

i am sorry, are you speaking to layman or to the scholars? what about the first dialect explanation what they did and what others didn't do? (if it wasn't important, why to include in video?)
Wasn't there a video like this which was about 2h long from Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan or am i remembering it wrong? (couldn't watch it at the time it came out) Or is the actual series "the preserved book" the same as the lecture i mentioned and just cut in smaller pieces? May Allah be pleased with you. Aameen.
I am sorry but this brother is one of worst orators and probably the least eloquent in the English tongue. He takes such long time to get his points across and is constantly flipping between Arabic and English without any explanation. I tried so many times to listen to this talk but find it impossible. The content is good but execution is very poor and I find this with all of his talks including his debate with Asrar.
@@safiasaleh7322 that's amazing, can you tell me about 3:00 or ,,, the explanation about dialects what one tribe couldn't understand etc etc etc., i found
He is doing us a favor by giving lectures in English since the Muslims have left the Arabic language and therefore left the scholars. You would do yourself much goodness if you learnt Arabic.
Akhi kareem. Please listen again. You 'll understand better. Better go with this non-eloquent Sahaba-manhaj Ustadh than eloquent deviants who'll take you to the doorsteps of the Hell Fire.

Correct, they don't have strong criteria in terms of scrutinizing oral history.

What books have been written which bring all the variations of the Qira'at and the differences in ahkam, meaning and aqeedah? I would be keen to know.
Detailed analysis
I could not understand, I am a layman and I don't understand completely, I think these lectures are for intermediate levels.
is there any reason why All-Knowing didn't instruct to recite directly in 7 Qiraat? is there known some wisdom behind 4x Angel coming and all that?
