Have a 2024 Sport hybrid and I can literally drive it all day long with pleasure and never get tired. People say it’s boring and yes it’s not as fun as a civic sport, but it is absolutely a fantastic daily driver for comfort, decent power, and use ease of driving. There’s nothing like driving a Honda with direct feel which feels like an extension of you. Everything about the set up, tech, and driving dynamics just simply works.
I bought one a few weeks ago and am getting about 39 mpg combined. I really like the car so far but it isn’t perfect. The noise it makes when backing up when it’s in EV mode is quite loud and annoying. Also if the drivers seat would go back about another inch or two would be nice. I’m 5 ft 8 and I’m good but still another inch or two back would be an improvement. It’s got enough power especially when up to speed but it is not very quick when merging from a lower speed. The road noise is far from great though the dealer tires may be largely at fault I suppose. The 9 inch infotainment screen is quite nice though and the tech it does have seems to work very well for the most part. I really like the adaptive cruise control and built in voice commands which work really well. All in all I really like the car but it is quite expensive in its segment and the fact that there is no spare tire is definitely not a good thing.
I'm looking at this Honda as a daily driver. I like the new look but I'm not too crazy about the simple-looking infotainment system. I like the digital displays of Lexus or Kias. Great review. 👍
Honestly it's really user friendly. Nice and simple to use and not complicated. Lexus is pretty good but the Kias I think is a bit too many icons. So this seems like a good setup. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Hello, since 2021 I have my own Honda CR-V Hybrid (Life Style), I am very satisfied with it to the outdated infotainment, which goes on Android 4.3 and cannot be updated, which is a big shortage. For the new version of the CR-V hybrid I have some pleasant comments such as struts on the front bonnet, in the trunk there are already hooks to hang shopping bags, the rear seats are already adjustable seat belts. And that's all, compared to the 5th generation. Now I do not know who thought to give the sunroof-as it will be cleaned and spy, especially in winter. Why is the passenger seat at the front is not as adjustable as the driver? The heated steering wheel is not, it is only tempered. Also, seadaders are not properly ventilated- I did not feel in summer that the top clothing is not sufficiently ventilated. When the rear seats are handled, the stairs are formed between the trunk and the back. Given that the car in the Czech Republic costs around 1200000CZK/ 48000EURO, for me the failure to tag is quite a lot. I do not comment on the design, everyone has an idea. Also, the headlights do not lean into turns, such as Subaru. Sorry for the inaccurate English
It is possible to have too much tech in a car. I have rented cars where there is so much unnecessary tech that I can’t even figure out how to dim the cabin lights. I think Honda went with the less is more approach.
Hello, I dare a few observations, my own 5th generation 4 years. The fuel consumption is determined between the driver's head and its right legs with the use of recuperation pads. I had the opportunity to ride for a while (2024) and I would summarize it in a few small notes. I think that even in a new model that you represent for 2025 nothing significant compared to 2024 did not move. In today's heat ventilation of seats, it is not as intense as I would have imagined; I do not know whether the intensity can be set. Furthermore, I was amazed that the passengers could not adapt their seat as much as the driver. In 5. Ogeneration it was possible to set the armrest and often use it for longer routes. Damage. I did not find out what the sunroof is for when Honda has air conditioning. I would expect a greater suppression under the front wheels, the noise is somewhat larger. What about the model for 2025? They could better adapt the compartment to recharge your mobile, as the cell phone runs in the corner. See how quite practically they created and entered the lower part of the car; On the back is already a hole that will suffer especially in winter (I mean part from the rear axle). Otherwise, I finally praise the practical rear safety belts that can be set as much as the front. I also praise the possibility to set the position of the rear seats. It is a pity that the rear passengers cannot separately adjust the positioning bench position. I still remembered the heated steering wheel, which is only for temperament and not on heating. Heating seems to understand that I could set the heating temperature as in the seats. I praise that someone has finally remembered that in the trunk people not only carry their suitcases on holiday, but for over a year they are made shopping, and in the masters that can at least be attached. The last observation is that it is not possible to regulate the air conditioning in the front. If the passenger does not want to play cold air on himself, he is simply unlucky. Either the driver is baked, or the passenger arrives "frozen" or with a barley grain. I think it could be different at the price of the car. It's just my observation, I know that other owners don't mind these things and don't solve them. For me, I will wait for the CR-V hybrid 7. generation, (year 2025-2026) what it will bring.
lol if you NEED 360° park cam, what you actually NEED is to learn to drive 😂 MPG is also great. I fill up once a month to go to and from work ❤ and then some. It’s also a good thing that where I live we don’t need ventilation or AC for seats because it’s always cold. Heated seats and heated steering wheel is great. 👍 much more comfortable than the RAV4 and much more affordable. If you NEED a serious off road vehicle, you’re not getting that in this segment.
@@BrosFOURRSpeedabsolutely agree with you.. A perfect driver cant see everything and when technology is at service, focus on driving not managing everything around 😑🥲
With this attitude Honda CRV never gonna beat Rav4 except the interior material look and feel 😑 Not interior specs 😂 as CRV still doesn’t have full digital display, no 360 and no panoramic on its top trim.. 😶🌫️
Makes sense.. But with price the specs not matching up.. I have been noticing CRV slowness/laziness in bumping basic specs at its highest model from more than 4 yrs now.. CRV is so unwilling from past 2 yrs to even make an effort to bump their sales.. Going plain and plainer each year with rise in prices..
These videos are great but cars are going to be a luxury item and most of us will need to be walking and taking horses in the near future. Super hard to find a honda crv in todays world.
Idk where you’re looking and what you’re doing for work. You are so terribly wrong. We won’t be riding horses for at least 4 generations to come. We’ll be long dead by then. If you’re not making $90k a year, in your mid life then you made some terrible decisions and I feel sorry for you.
The Hybrid backup/move noise is a dealbreaker. Too loud. Honda quality has sure tanked. Everyone needs to stop slapping screens on the dash. Looks dumb. Integrate it!
Not a good value. Also 95% of consumers believe the CRV has the same AWD system as the More expensive models, Ridgeline, Passport etc. But it does not. No torque vectoring, slow reaction time, and poor adaptability.
Very good value ❤ love mine and would never consider Toyota. Especially after all their recalls and some hybrid models catching fire 🔥 😂😂 you don’t need torque vectoring if you’re using it for what it’s intended to do. Which is driving on the pavement to and from work. Buy a more expensive RAV4 that will catch fire or get reliable Honda performance 😂

CRV needs to introduce full panaromic sunroof
Sadly you are correct ✅ other than that. It’s a great vehicle
@@changes8 I think its the best SUV in it's level. CRV, rav4, forester are almost equally good

Yeah this might not be the perfect car for everyone. Plenty of other crossovers at this price that might have better features you like more
Does this have tire pressure monitors
I believe so

Why would you say that?
Yes. Not real.
Maximum load capacity of 850 lbs (385 kg)
Cool, people probably won't be putting that much weight in this.
plug in soon like Europe ?
Maybe at some point. Normal hybrid works well tho
yes it should have ventilated seats the top spec kia does and it has ventilated & fogs & it's $2,200 cheaper.

I think they need to have the sound for pedestrian safety. Seemed like a nice car overall. I haven't looked much into long term with these tho
Crazy people complain about the noise as it serve as a safety design for pedestrians but would slap an after market on a sedan with 180hp😂
