- It's been a year since I did my first tour of my Go-Pod and I've changed a few things.
The sink's upgraded, the curtains are now red velevt and I'm using steadies
I seem to do these videos next to water. Last time it was at Camber Sadns, this time I'm on the banks of Lake Windermere.
Interesting and practical updates, thank you
Thanks. i probably should have snuck some more music into the vid though :)
I love it, I want one so much! More pod updates please!
I'm very glad I have mine. My pod is currently wrapped in its winter cover but I ought to do a video on driving it around
@@talksandtales5824 great idea, subscribed!
Gorgeous cozy space!
Definitely. I was using it this weekend and there was thunder & lighting outside and I was very cosy
Very informative mum would love to get one of these so we can do shows around the country 😊
The Go-Pod is the smallest caravan that has the cooking facillities inside. Slightly bigger is the TAB 320 (which I've had a look around and liked) The Barefoot (which is a much more expensive but beautiful caravan) the Freedom caravans which I've not seen in person but look good on paper. I suspect the Go-Pod is the easiest tow but I think all of them are for novices. I heartily recommend
Have you purchased a GoPod yet and if so what is your opinion?
I'm extremely envious of your location! In fact I'm turning green. Windermere - I love it there, but I haven't been in years.
It was an amazing place and I was lucky to visit
Wow looks amazing, making the fine tuned additions sound so sensible for quality of travel. With the pod can u park at side of lakes etc. if visit to city/town/national trust garden/can I park? Also enroute to holiday can u park in regular car parks or do U tend to book ahead lots for sites to stay etc.
Personally I've never done any wild camping (I book a campsite) with the Pod but people do. Motorway service stations generally expect a fee if you stay overnight but laybys don't (if you see lorries parked up then it's fine)
Carparks in scenic places normally have a sign up to say if you can or can't stay overnight.
In England it's illegal to camp on someone's property overnight without permission but anywhere unenclosed in Scotland is okay.
Hi where did you get the steady from ?
Sorry for the delay, I couldn't find the link for ages. These are the steadies www.caravanstuff4u.co.uk/caravan-safety-security/3511-fiamma-plastic-stabilising-jack-stands-set-of-four-8004815313296.html
That particular tap would annoy me. It is clearly designed to be sitiuated on the right of the sink. Apart from that I think these are great little campers. Thumbs up for the other "mods".
I see what you mean about the tap but I must confess I haven't had a problem with it.It's interesting that many podders have made their own adaptions to their pods :)
How do you handle bathroom situations? Are you always parked near somewhere with a bathroom you can use?
I'm coming from camping, so am used to not having a loo, and do usually camp near facilities. However, the Pod does come with a Portapotty - which I don't use and I've added a Bivvyloo.
Thanks for the video
Can I ask you please what brand the axle stands are that you use as steadies - that is a brilliant idea.
Huge thanks, I got the idea from the Go-Pod Facebook group. I'll try & find the maker
The are kampa stands
@@talksandtales5824 PLease excuse my tardiness in replying to say thankyou. THis is very much appreciated.
They are difficult to track down but I have managed to find a set to buy, which is on its way to me.
Again, many thanks - hopefully bump into you on a camp site somewhere someday!
@@davidf7481 That would be great. I'm sure you'll find them excellent. They are really simple to use.
You need to work on your American accent. LOL
I'm sorry I'm confused. I wasn't attempting any accents.
