This is M'gann's Flashback of the cause of her Mental Shock & the reason why she is holding back on her mental/physic powers.
I feel symthapy for poor M'gann in this episode.
She is now finally realising the error of her ways.
When I first saw this episode I had shivers of fear and sadness during these scenes. Glad she stop her mind-raping stuff.

I was not a fan of season two M'gann. This does make sense for affecting her so much though. Kaldur had always protected/defended and been kind to her then she didn't even have enough faith in him to theorize a possibility he wasn't a traitor. She really found the closest thing to killing him she knew how to but found out it all was an act. A bit of guilt would come with that
