I lived in Israel for 10 years and learned Hebrew and as far as I can ascertain there never was any Biblical name called called "Jesus" that this song in the video calls "beautiful."
Miriam ("Mary") gave birth to a son whom the Angel Gabriel named YESHUA, which is Hebrew in the male format for the word SALVATION. It is THIS Name at which EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW and in whom we have power and authority to pray, and by which Name we are SAVED.
("There is NO OTHER NAME by which we are saved.")
There is no letter "J" in Hebrew, so "Jesus" is an impossibility. There was no letter "J" either in the English language when the King James Bible was published in 1611, so the name "Jesus" was not in it, but only appeared in the mid-to-late 17th Century after the new letter "J" had been introduced. Thus for the first 1600 years of the Church there was no name "Jesus" with a "J" so it is less than only 400 years old, so there is no way Yeshua would ever have heard it in His lifetime, but it doesn't stop Gentile Christians from calling Yeshua "Jesus" which has no intrinsic meaning whatsoever in English (like the name "Daisy" would), so the "salvation" is lost!
He says that He will say "I never knew you, depart from Me." Maybe there are millions who will appear before Him without ever knowing or acknowledging His Name, never mind giving glory to it. All the songs that spout about loving the "wonderful name of 'Jesus' " are not based on the the Word of God or reality.
My father gets annoyed at a man in his church who keeps getting his name wrong consistently. Should we expect any less of Yeshua considering His Name is supposed to be higher than any other? I cringe every time I hear "Jesus" and I'm sure Yeshua cringes in heaven too.
