Stun is literally ineffective on this hunter and transitioning in open space without taking a hit is impossible since she can also dash out of her shadow quite far. There is no intuitive counter-play except pallet spam which should not be a thing. Looping is not a thing against her as well. Mind gaming is possible on her but that is no argument for an eligible counter-play. Cipher rush is still possible if she camps chair but lets be honest, this hunter doesnt want to be camping. But after all, i am just complaining and we should see how she plays out in the competitive scene and how the pros counter her 😊

This hunter is built to counter loops and transitions, so she’ll deal with other small pallet areas easily. Even some say she doesn’t need a blink at all because of her skills convenience

I cannot speak for how it feels to play against Opera, but as someone who has plays her quite a bit, I find her really difficult to get value out of her. Most of my matches are a draw or loss because survivors wouldn't stop pallet spamming, which i still cannot figure out how to counter with her. She feels good as she is one of the more difficult characters to play, but i do agree that her camp is insanely good, making her one of the few hunters who can effectively camp 2 chairs at once, or to go far away and come right back to the chair as if nothing happened. Weather she needs a nerf or not is a massive maybe, but in my opinion she is fine atm. Also am already suffering enough with her, please do not nerf her i am on my knees D:

How to counter pallet spamming? Bring fast pallet breaking or speed boost around. Pro tip: You can exit shadow form by attacking without going on cool down. Do that and speed up on the same shadow area to catch up to looping survivors.

Lots of people are suggesting massive nerfs, while others are suggesting no change is needed. Why not just make it so that when she enters her phantom state she can only be in it for, say, 15 seconds before she then automatically comes out of it and gets her cooldown. Of course this is just an arbitrary number and can be filled in with whatever works, but at least that way it'd work as a nerf without making her core power useless.
I have no solid opinion about this character because I’ve only met her a few times and I didn’t watch any kiting guides yet 😅 also I’m kinda surprised that she is available for the game modes

I don't know how people think she's balanced or underpowered when some of the records I've seen are like, 10 victories in a row or more with opera singer, not to mention the fact that I've been losing constantly as survivor and just barely avoiding bots. And yet, players keep arguing about who is right instead of actually trying to agree on stuff like normal people, it's sad.
Take into account that this is a new hunter and people are still adapting to different playstyles to counter her. Why do we need to cater to survivor mains so much when the whole game is survivor sided?

For survivors, cipher rush is an increasingly problematic strategy against hunters, and for hunters, some (not all) of them are ending up unbalanced or overpowered, causing the game to end too quickly usually. Yes, cipher rush can counter unbalanced hunters, but I don't think it could be considered a solution or anything like that. And I'm not really sure what game changing strategy survivors could find out so soon that would cause the streaks of victories in the records to become a mix of everything, it would have to be a pretty powerful strategy if so.

Balancing and nerfing all come down to how much she got banned from rank matches / her win rates, etc. They don't look at how OP a character is, but on how many people use that character and win vs how many ban it. However, I got to say this: Her charge-hitbox is broken, she can hit through one survivor to the other(Body-Blocking is useless). I met her in Duos and she is a pain because of that plus maybe her insane chasing speed.

Literally there was already alot of mistakes done in the match, that had nothing to do with Opera Singer skill. Like survivors were already not bringing tide turner, and enchantress plus priestess decided to rescue all at the same time and no one was focused on decoding. Honestly the survivors in the match were making silly mistakes, which had nothing to do with the hunter being OP.
думаю про нерфы какие-либо говорить сложно, её только-только добавили в общий доступ и пока и хантер мейны не очень за неё играют, и сурвомейны не знают как её кайтить так очень часто происходит с многими новыми хантами и сурвами, которых сначала клеймят метой, а потом все дружно учатся их кайтить. на моей памяти так было как минимум с анной, которую тоже при выходе все дружно заклеймили слишком сильной, а сейчас её все спокойно кайтят (хотя многое также зависит от игрока, который на персонаже сидит, с гейшей это очень заметная разница, когда игрок знает как ее юзать и когда игрок вообще не в курсе про её прыжки через стены и прочее) время покажет, а пока что возможно ей стоит только добавить кд на прыжки к теням (хз как обозвать, короче когда она без кд может снова дешиться)

Can the Surv faction just let the hunter faction have a hunter that doesn't need to get through multiple nerfs for once?- I feel like once a new hunter drops and they're too op or "Broken" whist surv faction has characters like first officer,Priestess,Merc and so many others that are a pain in the ass to deal with. Sangria is easily countered by going to open areas or by staying in an area with pallets. Do I think she needs a nerf? No Do i think her cooldown should be increased a few seconds? Maybe . All in all i fail to see whats wrong with her. The no cooldown mechanic is similar to gamekeepers hook and I dont see people complaining about it at all...Her hitbox is literally shit so the cooldown mechanic and her insane speed compensate for that. Лично до её релиза в нашем комьюнити её считали слабым охотником, которому нужно усиление и я до сих пор уверен, что ей нужно продлить ускорение после рывков и починить проблемы с тенями, потому что две разные тени дают откат способности. Это ужасно. И всё же сейчас она выглядит сбалансированной. Поясните пожалуйста, где я не прав.
Ну ещё затронуть хитбокс, который как раз оправдывает её скорость, ведь вставать ей нужно чуть ли не впритык к выжившему. А без скорости уж не подберешься ты к выжившему быстрее, чем он к окну
I see it as from my own perspective based on my long-term experience. I’m not a game developer or a judge, but I can see that this hunter is way too strong than she supposed to be, comparing to others hunters potential.

i feel like her dash should enter cooldown EVERY time she leaves sjadow realm, that fact it doesnt just makes no sense to me

For me, atleast Night watch has a limit to how much he can spam (that being his wind charges) and he has to wait for the tempest cooldown

For survivors, cipher rush is an increasingly problematic strategy against hunters, and for hunters, some (not all) of them are ending up unbalanced or overpowered, causing the game to end too quickly usually. Yes, cipher rush can counter unbalanced hunters, but I don't think it could be considered a solution or anything like that. And I'm not really sure what game changing strategy survivors could find out so soon that would cause the streaks of victories in the records to become a mix of everything, it would have to be a pretty powerful strategy if so.
@@duydo2593s a hunter main opera is really easy, the only skill dependent thing for her is using the tele back properly (even then just use common sense, its not that hard)
Imo this gal only has two fates
One: She becomes meta and turns into "Bloody Queen 2" from season 7 and forces changes to the game
Or Two: She just gets nerfed throughout the patches or people learn how to play against her and probably will go into the same room with Chad Eyes

Yesterday she same to me in her shadow form, hit me, and then right after hit cd went back into shadow form. Like, what? Girl, you need some cd between switching forms. This is the first time I've ever hated a hunter so much. I don't like her design and her BS abilities

Balancing and nerfing all come down to how much she got banned from rank matches / her win rates, etc. They don't look at how OP a character is, but on how many people use that character and win vs how many ban it. However, I got to say this: Her charge-hitbox is broken, she can hit through one survivor to the other(Body-Blocking is useless). I met her in Duos and she is a pain because of that plus maybe her insane chasing speed.

Is this match supposed to be proof of her being "too strong"? Or is it completely unrelated? There's a difference between a hunter being OP and the survivors being stupid enough to attempt a basement rescue within the first minute of the match.

Literally there was already alot of mistakes done in the match, that had nothing to do with Opera Singer skill. Like survivors were already not bringing tide turner, and enchantress plus priestess decided to rescue all at the same time and no one was focused on decoding. Honestly the survivors in the match were making silly mistakes, which had nothing to do with the hunter being OP.

думаю про нерфы какие-либо говорить сложно, её только-только добавили в общий доступ и пока и хантер мейны не очень за неё играют, и сурвомейны не знают как её кайтить
так очень часто происходит с многими новыми хантами и сурвами, которых сначала клеймят метой, а потом все дружно учатся их кайтить. на моей памяти так было как минимум с анной, которую тоже при выходе все дружно заклеймили слишком сильной, а сейчас её все спокойно кайтят (хотя многое также зависит от игрока, который на персонаже сидит, с гейшей это очень заметная разница, когда игрок знает как ее юзать и когда игрок вообще не в курсе про её прыжки через стены и прочее)
время покажет, а пока что возможно ей стоит только добавить кд на прыжки к теням (хз как обозвать, короче когда она без кд может снова дешиться)

the first time i saw sangria i thought it was o,p but after that my mindset changed but after he was fully released i think he was right o,p but i'm still confused if he should be nerfed or not because his skill is quite hard to use i think he is It's best to get nerfed, maybe the nerf will give duration to dash when he manages to move elsewhere, at least the netease will give Coldown 2 seconds so that Sangria won't be too free to move, but yeah, there's still a big possibility if the nerf isn't effective

They rather need to nerf her speed or yes, make limited dashes, since some maps are just too broken for her with the amounts of obstacles she can hop on
Can the Surv faction just let the hunter faction have a hunter that doesn't need to get through multiple nerfs for once?- I feel like once a new hunter drops and they're too op or "Broken" whist surv faction has characters like first officer,Priestess,Merc and so many others that are a pain in the ass to deal with.
Sangria is easily countered by going to open areas or by staying in an area with pallets. Do I think she needs a nerf? No Do i think her cooldown should be increased a few seconds? Maybe . All in all i fail to see whats wrong with her. The no cooldown mechanic is similar to gamekeepers hook and I dont see people complaining about it at all...Her hitbox is literally shit so the cooldown mechanic and her insane speed compensate for that. Survs think every hunter is op just learn how to kite and wait you'll learn how to counter her like every other hunter, Just give it time

i have kited a few opera singers successfully but mostly if i used characters like forward, and these hunters have been bad. shes too op

@@gr4veyards20open spaces, harassers, distance (by this I mean toy merchant in her case it depends on placement and hunter presence, little girl, priestess etc.), take advantage of her short hitbox (even if you’re in a situation where she can pick someone off the ground while someone is chaired to try to down the rescuer her hitbox is so bad just bait her), don’t forget pallet stuns (she’s a pallet queen). And well yeah that’s basically it.

This happens with EVERY new hunter, people are unsure of how to counter so they say "wE nEeD a NeRf" when in reality the hunter is balanced, pallets, bodyblocks and cipher rush are extremely effective and this video is an example of the power of basement rather than the hunter.... stop complaining

@@Ultravioletskies it’s not the point if survivors are bad or not, the main reason why is she unbalanced is how her skills work.
She is extremely fast, counters loops and transitions, her attack is instant and unpredictable , she can cut off survivors with her copies, she can camp with her copies, use teleport and get back with them
And so much more, especially considering that her main abilities are unlocked right at thr beginning, so she’s not snowballing at the start like some other hunters do.
For now she is way too fast even after her first nerf, which means she will most likely get another one soon

Почему же люди тут жалуются? Почему у вас тогда Мэри не нуждается в нерфе? Гейша уж далеко не хуже, Альва до сих пор силён, а ночной дозор вообще история отдельная. Бегать от Сангрии вполне реально за счёт способностей. Она не игнорирует станы и даже щиты профессора. Этого персонажа можно кайтить с прямыми руками, но люди опять будут плакать и она превратится в клоуна какого-нибудь. С вашими постоянными кулдаунами и ограниченными рывками она превратится в мусор, на который люди потратили валюту. Лично до её релиза в нашем комьюнити её считали слабым охотником, которому нужно усиление и я до сих пор уверен, что ей нужно продлить ускорение после рывков и починить проблемы с тенями, потому что две разные тени дают откат способности. Это ужасно. И всё же сейчас она выглядит сбалансированной. Поясните пожалуйста, где я не прав.
Ну ещё затронуть хитбокс, который как раз оправдывает её скорость, ведь вставать ей нужно чуть ли не впритык к выжившему. А без скорости уж не подберешься ты к выжившему быстрее, чем он к окну

I’m not a game developer or a judge, but I can see that this hunter is way too strong than she supposed to be, comparing to others hunters potential.
