I miss the 1970's Muppet Show. Me and my brother were big fans. We got to meet Mrs. Henson briefly at the Traveling Art of the Muppets exhibit in the mid 1980's. My brother also talked to Frank Oz on the phone and got an autograph picture. .
To be fair, they do a pretty damn good job making a show when the same 6 puppeteers playing every character. Like it's hard to tell when they've got someone else doing the puppeteering, unless you're a big Muppet fan like me and can recognise the puppeteers and even when you can't see them, can tell which ones are the actual guys doing it. They sync the puppeteering very well. Like Matt Vogel plays both Kermit and Sweetums, but the guy doing Sweetums managed to get the mouth movements spot-on.
Is he doing the voice though? From all the clips I've seen from the show, all the voices are done by the regular puppeteers. I mean, it makes sense to have one guy be Sweetums throughout, but the voice here sounds like Matt Vogel's when he plays him.
What is happening You can see the muppeteers doing the certain characters that totally kill the illusion of the whole show This doesnt work and knew it wouldnt especially at the O2 as well Far back would be like a trying to spot a fly on the wall half a mile away Awful idea come over to cash in on the summer holidays
It’s ok Richard, I am grateful you posted such a closeup and I understand why you put the writing up, as I’ve had videos stolen before myself. I was just being selfish 😆
DAVID MICHAEL PYPER I understand regarding the size of the puppets compared to the venue, but from personal experience as a puppeteer performing many shows in the same fashion, the kids are never interested in me, they only have eyes for the puppet even though my lips are moving and the puppet is doing its thing. I think they’ve done an amazing job. Doing a live show like this is hard work and takes lots of coordination. It’s not easy and they’ve done marvellous! Also it would be an expensive production... it’s not like a normal concert... you got all those sets, puppets, crew, puppeteers, marketing... pretty cheap if you ask me!
I see. Shame they didn't do a different Doctor each night. 'Cause I'm sure Colin, Sylvester and Paul would be up for it. And with Moffat's last few episodes already being broadcast, they could ask David Bradley to appear as the first Doctor.

Matt Vivian just to let you know, Muppet Performer Noel MacNeal is performing Sweetums for Matt throughout the entire show.

My guess it, since Matt is doing the other characters he performs live, Sweetums' dialogue must be prerecorded.
That's what I guessed
I was in the same section for the 2nd date. It surpassed my every expectation and so glad I decided to go last minute! ❤️
1:40 the muppets take the O2 intro
Grand Canyon: Big Hole
Mighty Mississippi: Muddy around this year
Strip Malls: Actually those are pretty good
Awesome.
I loved it.
starts to sing along with the Muppet show theme.
Thanks for uploading!!! And thank you for sitting up close so you can see the puppeteers good!
7:52 That song brings back memories
I love you The Muppets
Muppets Most Wanted
Awesome show
I really enjoyed the show when I saw it was worth the near 3 hour train ride from South Wales
Did everyone see the puppeteers or just you?
WELL NO SHIT
I meant in the audience, genius. I've seen Muppets live before and from where I was sitting I could NOT see the puppeteers.
No
Imagine putting your watermark on something that you didn’t even work on
Absolutely ridiculous, a slap in the face to all the muppeteers
Glad they brought doglion. Wish he had had a bigger part in the show tho
1:39
Scooter's mom brought Ken into it.
THANK YOU KEN
T H A N K Y O U

Your a Star but not “the” Star.
Where is this located
Damn. This would have been fun to see live
Yeah this is basically the same as the Hollywood Bowl
Well, as the old saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
8:35
You kinda are.
Thanks for uploading but was it really necessary to put your name smack bang in the middle of the video... really annoying!
thedoogles you’re welcome. If you wish, I can upload again but not have the name smack bang in the video. I don’t mind doing that.
Love it!!!

#muppets
Do you mind not putting your big copyright in the middle of the screen please?
Yo también pienso que los conciertos de 31 minutos son los mejores
Si son buenos pero los de los muppets son mas organizados y con mas personas
Do they also announce David Tennant and Peter Davison during the opening segment?
timrob12 David Tennant wasn’t announced but many knew he was going to be in this, Peter Davison wasn’t in the Friday night performance.
But did people know that Davison was going to be in this?
timrob12 it was announced about a week before the show that Peter Davison, Kylie Minogue, David Tennant, Charles Dances etc would appear.
I see.
Shame they didn't do a different Doctor each night. 'Cause I'm sure Colin, Sylvester and Paul would be up for it. And with Moffat's last few episodes already being broadcast, they could ask David Bradley to appear as the first Doctor.
timrob12 there was a different doctor for each night but the show was only on for two days
Which one are the muppets?
Steven Holt, are you serious?
Andreas Smith-Partee absolutley! It's hard to tell in the dim lightening.
You looking at them
