- We're back in Morocco!! And we can't wait to share our time again in Morocco!
Last year we spent four months in Morocco traveling as a family - and we had a truly amazing time! We had so many adventures all over Morocco that we have been really looking forward to getting back into our van and driving down to Spain to take the ferry from Algeciras to Tangier Med and get back to Morocco.
So here we go; here is the first day out BACK IN MOROCCO!! We are excited to revisit Asilah and get back into exploring beautiful Morocco.

I’m 58 years old residing in London. I was playing in Asila 3very summer from the age of 5 years old. My grandparents lived in Azailah (our Moroccan local name). So many memories.

Do you have any plans to visit Tetouan before heading south? It is beautiful and definitely worth a visit.The tagines there are among the best in the country!
A tip: Don't be fooled by the sun at this time of the year as it does get very cold after sunset.

Great to see you Guys discovering and visiting Towns like Assilah it`s so underrated, you should check Beni-Mellal it`s a beautiful city and near it there is the famous Ouzoud waterfalls it is a must see and the kids will love the naturee and Monkeys jumping around and you can enjoy your Tajine right next to the waterfalls.

أصيلا مدينة إسم على مسمى .مدينة مغربية ويسكنها الموريسكيين اللذين نزحوا من الأندلس سنة 1492 .هي وتطوان وشفشاون والعراءش وطنجة ❤❤💪👏
مغرب القرن الواحد و العشرين لم تعد فيه لا مدن امازيغية و لا عربية و لا اندلسية و لا غيرها. الموجود هو مدن مغربية لا أقل و لا اكثر لقد اختلط المجتمع المغربي بشكل كبير بفعل االهجرة سواء بين المدن بعضها ببعض او بين المدن و البوادي. تتحدث عن مدن الشمال الغربي للمغرب على انها مورسكية كان هذه الرقعة الجغرافية خالية من السكان قبل مجيء المورسكيين، و بعد مجننهم كأنهم عاشوا في كيطوهات معزولة لا علاقة لها بالعالم الذي يحيط بها. لقد جاء المرسكيون بارثهم الثقافي و انصهروا في المجتمع المغربي كغيرهم من الأجناس الاخرى التي وردت على هذه الرقعة الجغرافية عبر القرون. وعندما أتى المرسكيون لم يقدموا إلى أرض خلاء جرداء بل إلى بلد تفوق حضارته حضارة الاندلس بآلاف السنين بل ان الحضارة الأندلسية ليست الا البنت الصغيرة لحضارة المغرب و لكن لاغراض اديولوجية هناك من يريد قلب هذه المعادلة

I'm a Moroccan man living in the Netherlands and have grown up in this unique city called Assilah (or how we called in our dialect azayla أزايلة). I'm still miss my city every day, even if it's small, and not so many opportunities like in tanger or casablanca. That's as well the reason why a lot of zwalech move to Europe or other cities. أزايلة المدينة الحبيبة التي تربيت فيها و عندي فيها ذكريات 😢😢😢😢😢. And by the way, thanks that you have visited my city even though I'm absent 😂😂🫣🫣, and we as Moroccans are known of being ultra geneious and friendly, even other arabs are admititimg this fact.
