Yeh so I have the outin too but it chokes on the super fine grinds and so I can't quite get it to produce an even enough shot for my liking. Are you using Aussie roasted coffee cos it may be the difference?
At this time I am blessed to work from home, but a portable espresso machine is a great idea to use when we're camped out in doctor's offices (for my mom's cancer treatment appointments) and to take to the beach for a break. Thanks for the review!
I love this concept. Whenever my wife and I go away we take a pod machine and a thermos so we can have a coffee when we are out. But thermos coffee doesn't taste great. The Bevoy would be the answer I have been looking for :)
Hey Ryde, great review. I'm a retired hospital scientist and getting ready for a holiday driving from Newcastle to Perth and environs. Would usually take my Aeropress and grinder, the Brevoy would be a huge step up. Keep the excellent videos coming.
I joined their kickstarter campaign and got a green color. Works amazing, but Outin ads were everywhere and they have a non pressurized basket, so I gave my brevoy to my frd and ordered an Outin. The difference is probably that you have to dial in for Outin basket, but brevoys pressurized basket is more forgiving. It will give you a “perfect”extraction every time no matter what, and also has a bigger battery?
Or take this to the US - lol - just kidding - nah I am not - it was a struggle. When you can't find an aussie barista or beans - you need this!!! Not including you @harvestparkcity
Outin Nano with Basket Plus (not standard basket) is best portable setup so far.
Agreed.

Pretty much a copy of the Outin isn't it?
Really liked your intro lol
Haha thanks!
Yes it's very similar, although Brevoy did it first so I guess it's the copy but the other way around. 🙌😅
@Rydecoffeecoach 😢😂

I bought one of these recently to replace a failed Outin. It’s brilliant, good for pods and really good for freshly ground coffee.
Yeh I think it's more solid than the outin too.

So you prefer the outin? I have both too but for me the Brevoy created a nicer tasting shot even with the pressurized basket.
@ I didn’t noticed much differences, but the pressurized basket also fits the outin, maybe you can do a taste test again 😆😆
