That last woman's smile is so heart warming. She looks younger than the other two. She looks like she is in her early 70s. So, if living she's be in her early 90s now. Amy died in 1951. It would be wonderful to interview others who knew her personally before it's too late.
I am from jankot rolpa Nepal but now I am residing in Nagercoil kanyakumari Tamilnadu India. .. I have been in this place... where JESUS used her abundantly for HIS purpose. and many people got salvation. And Let many upcoming generations may saved through this place too.

@@randi4321 Hi, yes, there is an official blue heritage society dedication plaque affixed to the front wall of Millisle Baptist Church, in the centre of the village. A quick Images search will show it. There are also a residential street in the village named after her; Carmichael Park. There has been talk in recent years of a statue as well in the grounds of the church. On a lighter note, some people joked that folks might mistake a statue of Amy in her sari for a statue of Mary in a baptist church :-)
In Matthew, Ch. 25, we read the so-called "parable of the sheep and the goats". Jesus describes God as the king, who separates the many.. into two groups. To the righteous, He says, "Come, blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom...." The righteous reply, "Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You? When did we notice that you were thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You needing clothes and clothe you? After their response was done, Jesus says, "To the extent that you did it to these friends of mine, you did it as unto Me."
at 20 seconds the lady being interviewed.. it sounds like she says,.... "because of alleged mental illness, or ummm. they are prig styled in a baby Belle it is considered a bad omen"... please interpret.. what is she saying? I listened to it 10 times and could not figure it out.
Louve o Senhor!

I'm from Millisle, Amy's home village. Obscure in a way. Not on many printed maps. Reminds me of what Nathanael said about Nazareth.
Wow that is great to hear!
What a great woman of God...
I read that her her family's home was taken down in the 1990s. Are there any landmarks about Amy or her family still in Millisle?
