Machakilha: The Road to Prosperity

After continuous consultation with residents of Machakilha Village, the Government of Belize has made targeted interventions to improve this previously neglected rural community. The first order of business was constructing a road to the village, which then led to electricity provision through solar technology. Last week, the village’s urbanization continued with the installation of a water system serving all households.
