I was introduced to the beat generation by Johnny in an article many years ago. After reading On The Road then I recently listened to it . I’m slowly loosing my husband of 51 years, and revisiting this amazing book brought back so many wonderful memories of ill- planned trips out west. First as very young married teenagers counting our pennies and eating peanut butter sandwiches, and later as adults with our 2 children fighting like barbarians in the back seat . I will treasure these memories always , so thank you gentlemen. And a big congrats to you Mr.Depp .

I don’t consider myself a fan. Just someone who recognized someone who is able to translate many characters and images through hard work. Getting lost in a storyline is a skill many are not capable of achieving after being seen in particular projects.
