One thing is incorrect for the recovery Cylinders have a yellow top and gray body. You said the opposite just for whoever that listens to the video without watching. Thank you for the video.
I just passed the EPA universal certification test. I was using SkillCat app and going through the program only once and passed the test within one week. I do have some background in HVAC and chemistry though.
I'm currently going to a class for HVAC and I appreciate these videos

This is fantastic. So glad I found your channel. I own rental properties and wanted to do my own work eventually but require the 608 certification. My neighbor has done for decades and I've learned a lot from him too. Most I do now is capacitor and hot surface ignitor replacement along with other miscellaneous repairs.
I go to a trade school my teacher just text on his phone and plays your videos on the projector...!!!

Yellow too and gray body is correct. He just had a dyslex moment all good we all have them.

9:10 - They say not to run a system without refrigerant because that is how the compressor is cooled. How low of refrigerant can you safely get to by using the compressor for recovery? (BTW, the 500µ bit is on some of the practice tests I've seen.)
How can they add dates if it’s not in their study guide?

Hey man, I have a question. I took the EPA about a month ago and I passed type 1 type 2 and type 3 but I, unfortunately, failed the core by one question( got too confident ) I was wondering if I have to retake the whole thing all over again or can just retake the core and get my universal card?

Sir we always use danfoss Expansion Valve but at some place we want to reduce the cost of the machinery so we want to use capillary tube but there was a big problem arises we don't know what is the formula to calculate the size of capillary tube according to the temperature that we want ? Please sir make a video on this.

I have an offer to start at $20/hr in Chicagoland area and am being told I can build to $27-$30 in 2 years. Just need to pass section 2. Id be switching careers and taking a almost $20,000 pay cut. My question is, can I make over $30+ in 3 years?
It is crazy that you say that, Im in the same exact position now in a way. Looking to get into the industry and will be taking a pay cut from previous job. Do you have previous experience? Please keep me updated if you took the position and whats going on with you now. Thanks and best of luck!
If you go into commercial refrigeration maybe but typically you wont make that much doing residential, not in 3 years.

My instructor said they no longer ask dates on the epa. Is that true? I see these are from 3 yrs ago.
