Sadly in italy they didn't do listening party, but the day before Saviors will came out, stores will be open in the evening so we can buy it before official relise they will give something free to us too). I'm happy that you could go to one of the listening party and that you like the album! Your opinion make my hope and excitement for this album go higer! Can't wait to give it a try.
That's so cool that record stores there are opening late the night before. It's similar to what movie theaters do here the night before a big movie comes out. I think you will like the album. Only 5 days away!
I'm gonna try to go see Evan Dando at The EARL in February and I've already gotten a ticket to see Dorian Electra in March. I only recently discovered Hyperpop and Dorian Electra is my favorite of that genre, plus I'm sure there'll be some good people watching at the show. I had wanted to see Sleater Kinney, but it's the same week as Dorian Electra and it's hard to get evenings off. I'm devastated that I'll be missing Circle Jerks/Descendants/Adolescents, but I waited too long to get a ticket and they're all out of my price range.
@mariawesley7583 Oh snap. I knew Dando played last year at City Winery but didn't see that he will play at the Earl. My favorite music spot. I gotta go to that! Will let you know when I get tickets. I also waited too long to get tickets for Circle Jerks/Descendents and looks like it's already sold out.
Glad you were able to get to the listening party, and really glad to hear your positive comments about the new record. I haven't heard any of it yet (not even the singles) but I will receive the record by next weekend (I think) so I'll listen then.
I also thought about listening to the album on release day as a whole without ever listening to the singles but I couldn't resist listening to them. The label is doing a great job at promoting the record. Can't wait to get the vinyl. I'm also considering getting it on cassette.
I went to the one about an hour for me in northeastern Pennsylvania! The record store was called Gallery of Sound! It was a very cool experience. A lot of good people and a lot of good talk about Green Day! Felt at home, plus the album was really, really good! I got introduced to Green Day during the era of the trilogy. So learning the old stuff, to American Idiot becoming my favorite record of all time has been one hell of a journey that I've been listening to this band for 10 years! I'm so excited for this new album! Definitely in my top three alongside American Idiot and Warning!
I forgot to mention that in the video. It was cool to get to chat with some hardcore Green Day fans. It seems like the record store was full with our kind of people. Glad you had a good experience at Gallery of Sound. I've never been to a listening party like this before. It was great. Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for the review, definitely am excited to get the album, all the songs I’ve heard have sounded great , wasn’t able to get to a record store to hear the album so it was nice hearing your review! Have you heard of the Suicide Machines, they are a great band, if you haven’t yet check out their album destruction by definition !
I like the Suicide Machines. I only have their self-titled in my collection. It's great. I haven't listened to it in a while though. Need to change that.
They are doing a great job at promoting this record. The label has a lot more confidence in this one than the last one. Would love to hear your thoughts on the album.
They had a listening party at Homers in Omaha. We had a blizzard that day, but it still happened. Billie Jo posted someone’s picture from Omaha on his instagram
We got pretty lucky here with the weather. Cool to see BJ posting about the listening parties. I saw the band attended one in California. That must have been nuts.
Thanks for the video. The only albums that I didn’t enjoy as much post American idiot are trilogy and FOAMF. Revolution Radio was awesome. I hope I will enjoy saviors.

So glad you got to attend the listening party!
Thanks Maria! What's your next concert? I got nothing until March! The Kills on March 4. Then Sleater Kinney the same week.

I used to live in Scranton, now I’m in Florida, I’m excited to check out the new album

That is strong praise Will for this album. American Idiot is my favorite album by them. You may have sold me
Hi Steve. I think you will like this record. I wouldn't say that about their last album though lol. Thanks for stopping by!
I should have gone to the listening party at my local record store. I’ll have to give the singles another listen.

The Sound Garden in Fells Point, Maryland for me.
Album reminds me a lot of Revolution Radio. I'm here for it.
It does have some RevRad vibes to it, but with a few more melodies like the triolgy I think... Can't wait to hear it in full again on Friday.
For me? The best Green Day's album of the last 20 years! 🎸🤟
I think so too.
Personally this is their best work
It could very well be!

Nothing like this in forgotten Europe. Feels like 2nd class fans.
That's too bad. It could be on the record label. They are a lot touring in Europe this summer and they did several small venue shows over there too.
