Love the band ...and probably my favourite song( lyrics) by them .....not to take anything away from the lads ..BUT ..THE LIVE IN BLACKPOOL VERSION FROM 96..and BACK TO GLASTONBURY 94 ...is definitely the band at their peak .. but nevertheless..they always play brilliantly and with total heart even in a sheep field..
This song is from the band's 3rd album and the one they had to follow Levelling The Land with. A tall ask. i know in the past the band have said that they were very disappointed with the record. I'm glad that with plenty of hindsight they can feel proud of some of the great songs the LP contained.

Brilliant song, but I agree the Blackpool and Glastonbury performances were better. The energy they put into it when they were younger is amazing, and Mark's voice is deeper and rougher, but we can't help aging, the alternative is worse! Curious, though, when the lyric was changed from "never be surprised" to "never realize".
I seen a fellow with a rope his neck. Some like the blind fold. It's help them to forget. My IQ test was good faster than 79 of others. I don't feel fast the math questions lingard. I found a trick let they take control Jump in to another .

Incidentally, it was the first of their stuff I ever heard. As a 14 yr old I was mesmerised. I still love it and I'm now in my 40s.
