- On June 25, 2013, in Villemomble, in Seine-Saint-Denis, police officers confused a young black man with the one they were pursuing.
A series of violence ensued (LBD 40 firing, Flashball, de-encircling grenade, etc.) which left several injured. 54-year-old mother Fatouma Kebe lost the use of one eye. From their window, several residents filmed the events.

After seven years of proceedings, all the police officers were acquitted. What really happened that day?
Thanks to the trial record and more than 30 minutes of images captured by residents of the neighborhood, including unpublished sequences, "Le Monde" was able to retrace the key moments of this chaotic operation, with many police failures. An investigation that questions the notion of "self-defense", regularly invoked by the police in cases of police violence.
