To resolve log into you Microsoft 365 Admin centre.
Go to the Admin Center for Enpoint Manager - endpoint.micro...
Click the Devices option in the left hand menu
Click All Users under the Device Type Restrictions
Go to the properties tab
Edit the Platform Restrictions

Thank You, but i don't have an admin icon. What should I do?
Thanks very much. This has been an Annoying problem for us for almost a Year. Excellent and Easy! Good ole Microsoft, making life more difficult one day at a time.
If you don't have BYOD policy it is safe that stays as "Block", the other way to go around this is if you have access to add users Access, then add a USER DEVICE MANAGER in Microsoft Intune Admin Center->Devices->Enroll Devices->Device Enrollment Managers
Thank you
You should not be turning this off unless you are not supporting Auto-Pilot import of devices. Unless you have a BYOD Policy, you want to ensure that only devices your company owns are enrolled into your tenant.
so if i enable auto pilot and also get this error.what is the solution?
Depends, it usually means the device is not compliant with tenant enrollment policies, like minimum os version. You would have to review the sign in logs to see why the error triggered.
hey, i don't have the admin access so ??
Spot on, just made a new tenant and ran into this issue. thank you!
Hey is there any other alternatives to this? I have an student account with the microsoft office. They wont let me use the admin account because apparently I don't have the permission since it's affiliated with my university.
same question
Why would you want to join your own computer to someone else’s network?
You need to be an admin to change these settings.
@@Heresjaken yes I AM admin, but i want to link my school email to my computer to make everything easier :)
@@yuzukiyukari7793 you have to put your account in the pc in settings, for example on onedrive. i fix this with that
@@Genechi22 It worked! Thanks for the tip :)
This is still valid as of August 2024. Keep it up.
Facing this issue now, I just want my device to be entra registered but it kept showing 80180014. which is supposed to be for Intune~~
I did not choose the Join domain option when connecting the account in work or school.
If you have the laptop physically with you or the end user is knowledge, you can export the hardware hash again from the laptop. Delete the device from intune -> Devices | Enroll devices > Enroll devices | Windows enrollment: Click on the device, delete. Wait about 15 min, then import the device again with the hardware hash. Once you perform this operation, the end user should be able to login with his corporate microsoft account. Possible that a new error shows: 801c0027, just hit try again, try to login one more time and should go thru. The above is a good tutorial but if you allow personal device, and then block it -> then restore the laptop and try to sign in again, it will show the same error. (keep in mind that all data will be removed, after restoring it)
That makes sense
You have just saved me hours of work :)
Thank you for this! Very helpful!
What can I do if it says "No access" on endpoint? I go to devices->enrollment restrictions and It shows that message. Also it showed a message that the portal is having issues getting an authentication token. Don't know what to do
Curious - are you using some kind of educational tenancy there? Is it free?
Tank you!
perfect solution
No worries 😉
Thank you, solved my issue.
Thanks a lot, you enlight my day :)
I have 'Platform' and 'Personally Owned' both set to 'Allow' but still get the error. Stumped.
Wipe and reload time

You're welcome! Hope it fixed your Azure AD issue
there is no admin center for me
Are you an admin?
Thank you!
¿What Windows 10 version are you installing? ¿Pro or Enterprise? My IT guys say this is only for Windows Enterprise, and I want to install Windows Pro at home
You can connect pro
@@Heresjaken Thanks! I'm going to have a words with IT crowd 😆
thanks mate this worked
No problem 👍
I can't see admin portal
Are you an administrator of your azure ad?
@@Heresjaken Im not
Not works
Don't do this.
Why not?
Because it isn't the correct way to resolve this issue, you should add your account as an enrollment manager.
Thank you for this! Very helpful!
