I really liked the choral background. It fit the video perfectly. But the beat and vocals were like a completely different song over the top. Contrast like that can work. Eminem did it when he collaborated with Dido. But it is a pretty big risk. Both elements have to be STRONG in their own right to create contrast instead of dissonance.
