Awesome info! I’m interested in the production of many of these metabolites and how it varies throughout different growing practices. Since endophytic microbes can produce many of these compounds, I wonder how much the microbes play a role in the forming of these compounds in plants. My theory is that certain microbial metabolites are endophyte specific. Herbal constituents by Lisa ganora.

Wanted information about phenol ( phenolic , polyphenols and the like ) for herbal , natural alternative phytomedicine. polyols , alcohol sugars too. Noticed you use the term ethnobotany? Not a concern for someone practicing "alternative" therapy like I do. All one needs know is a cat is in fact cat and plants are not animals. Next question , compounds or constituents ? In my book, which will be written short lon_ I call everything NOT animal phytomeds exception mineral or NOT living ie vir. and the like.
