My mom just went through my bag and found out I bought the BE album she looked so disgusted, she then had a whole talk about how I shouldn't "idolize" them and said "just cuz it sounds good doesn't mean it is" which yes I see that but I've tried telling her what their music is about but she just wont listen, it's just been really hard because she shoves religion down my throat so much and that's why she doesn't like the fact I listen to BTS etc. She only wants me to listen to what she wants me too, and it just gets so stressful and hard when that's not what makes me happy.
I just want to thank you for making this a positive place for me so that I'm able to escape from all this I'm really happy I decided to watch your videos
I don’t have the same experience as you even though most of my family and myself are religious as well, I just get the feeling that my parents just aren’t interested or ‘approve’ of my new taste in music.
I still like all the music that I grew up listening to, I just branched out some more after discovering BTS and other K-pop groups.
To be honest, I was starting to loose interest in western music all together. BTS and other Korean groups have relit the music flame in me again, so now I am enjoying music again and re-listening to my CDs and old favorite songs...something I haven’t been able to do for awhile.
I am sorry your mother acts that way to something that keeps you going and encourages you each day, I don’t approve of the whole idol concept either but my beef is with the word ‘idol’ itself. Not BTS or any other group or music or anything, I love BTS and NCT127 and SHINee and several other groups.
I still listen to them whenever at my parents place, except I put my earbuds on just to be polite.

There have been many times I almost gave up on everything, but yk what yah I may not have a mom that I can talk to or who understands me and yes that hurts a lot but I at least have friends, a sister, ARMY, BTS and many more who help me realize that I just need to stay strong and keep going

Oh sweet sweet anitra, you havent seen the vlive clip have you? Where rm let's us hear how low his voice really is and says that he raises it during broadcasts so that people are able to him better. I could barely hear what he was saying to v in that vlive cuz his voice was so deep. I 100% believe that jk got a real piercing. You could see the tension in the skin,it looks very different from the stickers and even the placement seemed more realistic
sadly he cant get an eyebrow piercing :( maybe a nose or lip but eyebrow just isnt possible for work reasons, apparently it would cause a TON of irritation. so those are probably just gems.

I missed most of the live (was driving at the time) but saw the last 20 mins or so. Just finished re-watching the whole stream and as always your reactions just make the day a bit brighter. The dance move that Tae was doing in the cooler remix is called tutting., it’s a old-school dancing technique from the 80s.
I know what tutting is lol 😋 the just fingers only tutting though was a bit different so I wasn’t sure. 💜

i don't think it's a piercing. he took it off on the vlive, proving it's a sticker, and if later he really pierced his eyebrow, it wouldn't look that perfectly healed just a few days later, no redness, swelling or irritated skin
some say that the metal thing is round thus it's real, but sphere-like stickered existed a long ago... i used it as a teen, it's not that complicated lol
some other idols have also used such stickers while not having a real piercing, there are photos and everything

I had a ‘GLORY’ pony and an ‘APPLEJACK’ pony when I was little, unfortunately my little sister took a pair of scissors to GLORY’s mane and tail so they became rather stubby.
I wasn’t mad, just upset...I still have both ponies somewhere???
Just last year my sister (with our brothers help) tracked down a replacement GLORY pony and ordered in online to give me as a Christmas gift, it was late but still very much appreciated...
