  • There are few ways to get immediately feedback about how your are cross country skiing. But when the sun is behind us we can use our shadows to see how we are double poling and if we are getting good weight shift in diagonal stride.     Another positive thing about using your shadow is that you get thinner as your shadow get longer as the day progress and the sun goes close to the horizon! Great video! Thank you!

    Great tips as always. Do you ever work on Telemark turns on your classic xc skis? Peace

      Yes..but I clean the grip wax off first..classic skis work well for that type of turn but fishscales are not ideal..I prefer waxable skis..they skid better
