I don't think YG meant it to come out the way it did, but when he said "think of the other two as the members you chose", it sounded (to me) like he was saying "Well, I didn't want them in the group, but you insisted so here they are.", he didn't need to say anything other than "I'm so excited to have all seven members, I know they'll be great with seven."
@lazerx1828; the way it was translated does seem exactly the way it sounds to you. I also heard it this way also. But I will try to give a different view. . . When you say something in Korean, there is no easy way to say something like this in a nice, simple way. So to say it in Korean, YG said it the way he said it, and maybe YG does not have the best compassion when it comes to these things. But the main point I was trying to get to, is the translation. and I am not 100% sure these couple of sentences can be translated in a way to not be straight forward in what he meant. Maybe if he choose a different way to say it, maybe, but like I said, Korean language is a bit more straight forward, vs English which there are multiple ways to say the same thing, and be sympathetic at the same time.
