I live in Bay Area. Wanted to see what the SF Goodwill Bins looked like. Started watching your other videos. So fun to watch you and your daughters thrifting.
So sorry for your loss 🤎 It’s interesting how things change as we get old. I remember not wanting to take much when I was younger but now I take it all because I know it makes her so happy. And I love to see things around my home that remind me of my mom.
Woah, that Goodwill was spency! I live in the middle of nowhere Illinois but my GW is still very reasonably priced, thank goodness. I love how you repurposed the dog dish stand as a plant stand. Such a good idea. The one spot I always have to check is the one rack of XXL men's clothing because I've found most of my favorite oversized button ups, tees, sweaters, flannels, and hoodies on that one rack! 😂
Yes the mean section is the best for that stuff. Even my girls find the best stuff in the men’s/boys section. Goodwill is doing too much with their prices.
I collect and have used very old cutting boards for years, never a problem and love them! The double pet food holder is for their food and water dishes. I pick them up at yard sales and put clay pots in them with plants. I’m loving copper too, nice find and they also make great plant holders!
Thank you 😊 i’m definitely drawn to copper these days. Great minds think alike. I love how my flowers and jalapeño pepper look in the wooden piece. I’ve never purchased wooden cutting boards from the thrift store, but Il have to rethink that
That was a dog dish holder/ could use for planter maybe. Look at that! You did just that..Your girls are beautiful& creative. Glad you feal better..stuff is going around& it to shall pass.Be blessed& stay happy!👍🙏🦋🌸🐞🌺🦜🌴❤
Thank you for a beautiful video. Great use of the wood piece. Your garden looks amazing. You are so thoughtful of everything you bring home. You are a great homemaker. I don’t use thrifted wooden boards.
The wood hinges was a dog bowl holder but you would need the perfect size dog dishes. And the other thingy was an hour glass. Great idea for plants though
Hello 👋 gosh such great finds now I want a hour glass so beautiful and vintage looking and the duck is so adorable thanks for sharing love ur channel always Laura from Arizona
Hi Zhanna...sorry to hear you were undrr the weayher so glad your feeling better! That hour glass is gorgeous and I would've used the wooden piece as a plant holder as well but I'm pretty sure it was a dog bowl holder lol. I've also bought 1 of those colander but I wantto use it as a planter 😊
Thank you so much. I’m feeling better now but still trying to take it easy. My plants look beautiful in the dog bowl holders hahaha. I’ve never seen a plant in a colander. How would that work with all the holes?
@Livebeautifullytoday Good to hear we have to learn to listen to our bodies. Praying for complete healing. 🙏 The way I've seen it done it just works as drainage but I'm sure you could line it with that brown plant lining to is that cslled coconut moss I think? I found a small ceramic berry colander and put s cute spiky harwarthia in it. She's doing well
That store looks so clean and they had a lot of new things they were putting out. You use all your finds so beautifully. I don’t use wooden boards from the thrift store but the one u found was so pretty
The wood piece looks like it is for dog bowls. Good Will prices are ridiculous! They really need to get it together. I liked the brass pieces, and that laundry basket was a good find. To answer your question I wouldn't use a thrift store cutting board. I just don't think it's good health wise, not the best idea. I would use as risers for decor. So funny my Mom always sends us home with stuff too. Have you decided to read fiction? In your last video you asked for some author recs if you let us know what genre I will send some options. Have a great weekend. I look forward to your next video.
Yes I would like to read fiction but I wouldn’t know where to start. Honestly I’m open to anything fun or relatable. Um maybe something in the summer season. That wooden board was so beautiful but same I wouldn’t use it. I did think the wood piece was for dog bowls but I did love how my plants fit perfectly
Goodwill has gotten so expensive!! Like $8.99 for a casual top!! I saw a gal on UA-cam who is actually collecting hour glasses. Kind of a neat idea! You picked up some really neat things!!
Thank you 😊 yes I got some great things this trip for sure and very useful for everyday life. I always think the same thing like I can go to a department store like Ross and get things for the same price maybe even cheaper. It’s pretty ridiculous at this point
I believe that’s for dog bowls
I think it is too but my jalapeño pepper and flower pots looks great in it.
Thank your for sharing your thrifted treasures and sharing your real life! We are just transported into your life, your sweet home and family!
Thank you so much 😊 you are too kind. I did bring home some beautiful and practical things
Haven’t been to a goodwill in forever. I think a part of the high prices is the reseller market.
Yes I think so too. It really sucks
You have a very good presentation on your video. Just found your videos tonight and have watched a few so far.
Thank you so much 😊 glad you like them!
I love the ceramic duck and brass hourglass timer!
Thank you 😊 the brass hourglass is beautiful and used so often. The duck brings so much character to the garden.
Also ur daughter is so cute and talented I love her crochet book clips so smart again always Laura xoxo
Thank you so much, she is a creative little girl.
Truly inspiring! You find beauty & purpose in so many things. It's a gift. ❤😊
Thank you so much 😊

The little wood piece with legs and two round cutouts is for dog bowls
That hourglass is such a score!
Thank you 😊 I think so too
My Mom passed away a few years ago on Valentine’s Day.
I wish she was still around to give me some of her items.
Thank you for sharing!!🤍🤍🤍

That wood piece with the hole cutouts is for dog bowls ( the first one you showed) I’m sure using it for plants is a great idea
Thank you 😊 yes repurposing it for plants for sure.
Thank you for a beautiful video. Great use of the wood piece. Your garden looks amazing. You are so thoughtful of everything you bring home. You are a great homemaker. I don’t use thrifted wooden boards.
Thank you so much it’s been a journey bringing home what would not only be pretty but also functional.
The wood hinges was a dog bowl holder but you would need the perfect size dog dishes. And the other thingy was an hour glass. Great idea for plants though
Thank you 😊 hour glass I keep forgetting hahaha

It's so pretty 😊
Hello 👋 gosh such great finds now I want a hour glass so beautiful and vintage looking and the duck is so adorable thanks for sharing love ur channel always Laura from Arizona
Thank you so much 😊 I definitely scored some great and useful things this time around.
The wooden piece with two holes is used for your pets bowls.
I love how you have styled it though.
Thank you 😊 I’m really enjoying it outside with our jalapeño pepper and flowers in it.
I have reused wood cutting boards, just sand down and sanitized and it hasn't been an issue
That’s nice to hear. I think sanding down might be the trick.

Thanks so much 😊 the wooden board was beautiful but for my small space it has to be functional as well. Blessings
