Actually love the compact projector (the size of an AED), I do carry a extension cord in my mobile kit, we have USB for our 2020 videos (from Canada). Agree with the rest of your recommendations. Great video I will be recommending this to new instructors
Christian, thanks for the feedback! Projectors can be really great too once you've got the set up down- especially in combo with the USB stick. Good setup! We lean towards TV's just because its a really great universal solution that every instructor is familiar with. Thanks for your recommendations. We are so happy to help others and advance our mission for quality education!

Great Job Andrew!!! Your content is always informative. I’m glad I came on board as a result of the information you’ve given in your other videos. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for all the great info! So in another video you stated you would go all in with the office and spend the 15000$. Im getting my BLS instructor in a week. I want to get a loan but am nervous about making the payment the first month! I’ve been a medic for 13 years and love teaching and I’m hoping it all works out. Sure wish I could chat with you. Again thanks for the videos you are awesome!
Hi Kynan, It's awesome that you're making the transition from the truck to working more in the classroom. Your experience will be invaluable to your students. While we look back and know what we would do differently- we would also say that you should go with your gut and do what you're comfortable with. The pay is there for hardworkers- you just have to stay on top of it and be willing to work!
Great question! We get asked this a lot. We can't really put videos out there showing class materials because of copyright infringement. However, we have been brainstorming how to meet this need instructors have- because you're not the only one! We do have a lot of help here in the meantime: www.vitalipartners.com/blog/2022/12/ultimate-cpr-instructor-guide-and-help/
I’m an ICU nurse for about 13 years and I would like to start my own ACLS…… business. But I’m not sure what I need exactly and how to teach online as well. Thank you
We hope your training went well! Be sure to register an account on Class Eagle Health and Safety Directory to get some leads for teaching. Also, here's some tips on how to market yourself as a CPR instructor: www.cprinstructoraffiliates.com/effective-methods-for-marketing-your-cpr-business/
We don't currently make this public, but instead refer people to their specific instructor manual. They have material lists that you can copy to create your own checklist!
How much of a competitive advantage is being a medical professional when it comes to getting clients? Would a regular person be at a really big disadvantage?
Great question Michael. We have found that it really doesn't matter. While being able to tell some war stories is captivating- sticking to the script and just being a good instructor goes a long ways. For example, many college educators are just great teachers but don't have a lot of field experience.
Hello, I'm ready to teach my first CPR class. What video do I let the students watch. Is it the DVD or is there a DVD with just have the skills or scenarios? I'm confused. Can you help me. Thanks
Hi! Your instructor manual is your best friend here. You should be teaching your first class while being monitored by the person who did your instructor training and they will help make sure you have things together. In short, if you are doing the full instructor led course than you play the full DVD. If your students buy and take Heartcode online training then you do the Blended Learning Course and follow that agenda in your instructor manual.
Hey! Check out classeagle.com to search for qualified instructors near you. If you take an AHA Instructor course we can help you with ARC and HSI as well. www.vitalipartners.com/instructor-advantage/
Hi Shimrote, the AHA does allow you to teach from your home. However, depending on your Training Center, they may or may not allow it. Generally, we don't recommend it as many people are uncomfortable going to a strangers house and it is not very professional. Alternatively, we would suggest looking for a local church, gym, or community center that would allow you to use a. room for public classes.
I can’t believe OJ didn’t reach over and smack the shit out of Kyle the 1st time he brought up his ex wife, let alone the 2nd or 3rd time he did it. That shit was mad disrespectful. Especially because he was being so cool about opening up about stuff he hadn’t talked about publicly before.
