With an orchestra that was excellently disposed and where some people watched very attentively what was happening up front. I liked that the orchestra was kept small for Tchaikovsky (and yet this is unmistakably Tchaikovsky!). Too bad that so many seats in the audience were empty .
This technically brilliant performance succeeds in doing full justice to both the Rococò (18th-Century) and the Romantic (19th-Century) aspects of the work. I think that Tchaikovsky would have been pleased.
I think you mean CLASSICAL for category and not COMEDY. This is a great performance. Could you please list the name of the Conductor and the name of the Orchestra. It's a wonderful and moving performance. Such talent in such a young cellist. Brilliant.
