I came to say the same thing. I'm not always in a wheelchair but when I am I find it hard to get around because in general nothing is designed for people in wheelchairs.
There are many families who can afford it. Think sports stars with kids, lawyers, plastic surgeons, owners of businesses... it makes the parents the "cool dad/mom."
I think it’s fantastic your hooked up with a ritzy travel agency! I can see you spreading your fun and excitement for travel! It’s a good fit for you and will open all kinds of doors for you!
Something that is often overlooked but kudos on showing that room and putting it in the content. Definitely keep it in mind going forward not a lot of travel agents mention or ask unless they have clients with ADA needs.
I'm really glad you showed the accessible room, I'm an amputee and always travel with my wheelchair when my wife and I cruise. We always book balconies, so this was great to see!
he went from saying he is "canceling his booking and how its not worth it" to straight selling out lol i mean if you wanted to be a sponsor for royal you're probably not doing it right
LOL...remembering years i went to fancy home tours and ran into my Chiropracter and his wife with a girlfriend of mine walking through the huger shower in one of Street of Dreams homes......thanks so much for the tour of the latest and greatest...many the cabins seem a bit larger as well..and certainly they are on many of newer ships in many categories...especially in past 20 years or so with Royal...they really have the real estate to have many cabins..and types...thank you. Also thanks so much for special needs cabin review that was nice to get feel of the true needs being met as we have a family member now in need. Thank you Rodrigo (sp).
I liked your descriptions. I didn’t understand what the lady said about the cabin.. I liked the balcony sweet cabins….. All the showers are nice as they have doors and not icky curtains…. Thanks for all the tours..👍🇬🇧
That's pretty cool you're able to tour this, the lines are smart for having people put these videos out. I'm curious to know what these people are smoking that are coming up with all these sell-ups and more expensive options. This is over the top, if someone has that kind of money I'm pretty sure they would do other things with it like get a boat themselves
I priced that Ultimate Family Suite for a cruise on that ship in June 2025 for a family with five people and it was $154,000! The Royal Loft Suite on a voyage departing on June 21, 2025 (7-nights) comes to a grand total of $216,663 for two adults! I don't know how many are on board this ship, but they are all booked! You have to get on the waiting list! Who is booking these suites! I'm slipping big time and need to step my game up! Lol. I'm stuck in the Royal Suite aboard the MSC World Europa (7-nights from Barcelona) for a measly $10,000. I do like that Owner's Suite though ($26k for two adults Spring Break 2026)!
@@sandiegotraceytracey yeah that's wild! And what gets me is that they're all booked during the high cruise seasons. The deposits are over $20k to get them booked too! Crazy
I feel like the ultimate family suite is worth nowhere near 75k. Maybe 20k for the week. Royal is just charging that much just because they know some people will still pay it.
I hope to get a vlog or ship tour. I also make cruise content. I am using this as an example for mine and this is really helpful. Thanks so much for the excellent content.
This is a really helpful video. At my age, not really into the shopping mall vibe of baseball caps and cargo shorts, I was narrowing things down to one of Cunard's ships. If I can save enough, it might be Cunard or one of the suites you showcased here.
I’m loving this kind of content from you! Icon is looking amazing and worth the money (eventually, whenever the price becomes a bit more affordable 😂). Can’t see what other surprises you have for us.
I gave it a thumps up, but I won't to go on it. It's very nice and a master piece of construction and design but why so big? If anything ever happened on that ship it would be a total disaster for the guests and crew. Your ability to meet new cruise friends is limited as well due to it's size. I just prefer the smaller ships but if you like BIG........GO FOR IT!!!!!! It's a Beautiful ship!
I looked up a few sailings on the icon…about $87k for 4 people. Based on sailing month and duration…I saw around $18k-27k per person. Craziness!!! It would be great if it was like a couple of the Uber-luxury cruise lines that cost that (and more) per stateroom/townhome/penthouse, not per person! For example…Ritz-Carlton has suites/penthouses in their cruise line that goes from around $13k, up to the 50s (around $56k)…that’s per room!
These cruise lines have gotten very comfortable with all these upsells and increases. He become absolutely brazen in getting their money out of us and where we have to pay for their sins because they decided to lock down and close instead of running their business. But remember, and he's trying times we're in this together now pay up!!
Thanks for the infinate family suite, as no one has really shown that one yet since these sailings. I still won't pay those prices, though. I booked Celebrity in Alaska for Aug 2025 (2 connecting balconies Concierge) and the price was a lot more normal- (couldn't get a reg connecting room if not concierge). The icon prices for just a reg room I won't do.
For $75,000, many travel options can cover high-end restaurants, shows, onboard entertainment, etc. I bet in any major city such as Las Vegas, New York, LA, Miami, Tokyo, London, Paris, Shanghai, Dubai, etc., you can book a presidential suite for 7 days and watch the top-notch world-renowned shows plus eat at Michelin star restaurants, plus non-stop shopping sprees in the best malls.
It's a lotta folks bellyaching about the cost of the ultimate family suite & if you wouldn't want to spend on it, cool. But everybody has something they'd splurge on & if you got it, why not? If I had the money, and I was traveling with kids or a few people, I'd book it in a heartbeat.
We go cruising 3 times a year prices are going thru the roof and yes people still pay it. This is getting out of control i think. Soon it be cheaper to stay in usa and go to a beach trip for a week
I love your videos and vlog just one question if you can answer do you think in the future that Icon of the seas price drop because the prices are to high in my opinion

I am glad that you showed a room for disabled people. I am not sure how many YTbers would bother.
I came to say the same thing. I'm not always in a wheelchair but when I am I find it hard to get around because in general nothing is designed for people in wheelchairs.
If someone can afford a $75k suite on a cruise, they can afford a yacht!?! Why would they bother cruising on an overcrowded ship
Exactly, I can’t see the benefit to that for only sleeping 8 people. I would love it but it seems not worth it.
Right
75k for a few days 🤦🏾♀️
Probably wanted to be around a bunch of strangers, and feel like a baller on the cruise.
There are many families who can afford it. Think sports stars with kids, lawyers, plastic surgeons, owners of businesses... it makes the parents the "cool dad/mom."

Hi Rodrigo. Nice to see an ADA room demo.
Yes! Finally, a view of ADA rooms! I'm very interested in ADA accessible accommodations they have other places!
Something that is often overlooked but kudos on showing that room and putting it in the content. Definitely keep it in mind going forward not a lot of travel agents mention or ask unless they have clients with ADA needs.
Agreed! And HI RODRIGO
Well if you think about which age group likes to cruise alot...
@@jacobl5488 tf does that mean?
I'm really glad you showed the accessible room, I'm an amputee and always travel with my wheelchair when my wife and I cruise. We always book balconies, so this was great to see!
Thank you for including the accessibility suite ❤❤❤ So neat they thought to have a call button and low beds.
$75,000!!!! $75,000??? It better be for 6 months with a cook, butler and maid.
Thanks for the tour.
That's really cool how they made wheelchair friendly rooms. Good on RC
Hey Rodrigo! Thanks for showing the room!
Hi Rodrigo! Great tour, beautiful suite❤
Thank you Rodrigo!!! Great job of pointing out the key information!!
Excellent tour! I’m so glad you decided to sail. Hey Rodrigo! Thank you for the tour!
If I spend that much money that better be my permanent residence 😂
Ikr 😂😂😂
Hello Rodrigo! Thxs 4 tour & attention given 2 handicap accessible accommodations!
Thank you for showing the assessable cabin. I greatly appreciate it specially seeing I’m in a wheelchair.
I LOVE that you created this video highlighting accessibility. ❤♥
Thank you for this especially showing the accessible room. Nice to know 👌
I was honestly skeptical on the infinite balcony thing, still am a bit. Will be interesting how winds behave with it.
I thought you weren't going on icon. Hope you had fun! :)
I will explain tomorrow afternoon.
I know! I was sad because I always enjoy your tours!
He got it for free from his travel agency as a perk. So why not? I would

I stayed in the infinite family balcony room on the first shakedown cruise for icon ever and it was amazing
Well done for filming whilst it was very busy, couldn’t have been easy. 👍🏻
imagine your in bed in the middle of the night and hear that annoying ass piano staircase 😂😂
I’d be pissed 😂😂😂
Hey Rodrigo. Great tour.
Great video and nice partnership with the travel agency
I was hoping+happy that he went down the slide.
Hi Rodrigo, thanks for the tour.
How strong is that netting at 2:39?! I see an accident waiting to happen.
I'm so excited for your new adventures!

Man. It's been a long time since I went on a cruise. All the new stuff coming out on these mega ships is crazy.
It's so awesome you gave an overview of the rooms with disability access.
I liked your descriptions. I didn’t understand what the lady said about the cabin..

Why is the handshower hung so high in the accessibility room?
When i went on carnival the lady my group was with got us an accessible room because i guess she needed it. But yea it was nice. Lol i enjoyed it.

I think we will run into some celebrities on this cruise. 75k? 🥺
6:04 What is the room number of the wheelchair room so i can look it up if we go onto the icon of the seas & hi say too Rodrigo for me.
Even if money would not be an issue , I would stick with a suite on a mid size ship . The cruise industry is out of control .
I gave it a thumps up, but I won't to go on it. It's very nice and a master piece of construction and design but why so big? I'm remembering Wonder also has some similar suites.
I was just on the website and it was available to book for a family of four for 10k not 75k!
I've got my 4th cruise coming up in April im so excited
👋🏾 Rodrigo!
Awesome video. Please give your height for reference. That would be appreciated
$75,000 for a suite? I will see those same folks on OUR same itinerary, and I only paid $1,500! Bless their hearts.
I just booked this room! I will post vids on my channel
You slid right into tam city off the slide bro at 8:33. For for 75k i want her to be my personal assistant along with the room lol
